All relationships contain a spiritual component to them. These relationships or soul ties can be formed biologically, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. Some of these connections are destructive and ungodly, and commonly referred to as soul ties.

"A spiritual/emotional connection you have to someone after being intimate with them, usually engaging in sexual intercourse. To the point that when you want to be rid of them from your mind and your life, even when you are far away from them and out of their presence you still feel as if they are apart of you and apart of you with them, causing you to feel whole, as if you've given up some of yourself intangible that cannot be easily possessed again.

lets look at the word (spiritual & emotional).

spiritual: The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. ( 1 Corinthians 2:14

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)

When we are in the mind of a (soul ties) with a person you are not going against that person particular, its the spiritual on what the or dealing with or carrying within themselves.

For example: If you had every been in a relationship with a person that abuse you, not one time but multiple. However, you still finding yourself being in this toxic relationship; you knew deep down inside he/she is no good for you. The spirit they have in them make you feel like they have something good but the end of it all you find yourself empty and dry all back over again after you had give them what you what but you would not spectate it to be that way. The devil knew your weakness so it will use that on you, and get you connected with someone that's having the same problem without you realizing it.
