We are at the precipace of a momentus moment. A moment when real change can be exacted and enacted to create true equality and help bring an exhausted end to systematic racism. Rap Music has been a politically charged forerunner keeping the issues of police brutality, and racism in the face of those interested in keeping it alive. Now were here. At the doorstep of peace or pile heaps. Either way the word no longer serves anyone but its owner now. Weve taken as far as we needed to. Today WE are at the door of change-- a chance to speak to and change Laws. So I ask my Black rappers men and women-- Is it time to stop seeing yourselves, others as that?-- Identifying with a word we've already weaponized and used?
