KEY POINTS / MAIN TAKEAWAYS:
QUOTABLES:
"Be confident, too many days are wasted comparing ourselves to others, wishing to be something we aren't. Everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses. And it is only when you accept everything you are and aren't will you truly succeed."
"So I'm just so grateful that God has really shown me, of course, that there were some valleys that I had to go through. Am I happy that I had to experience it? Absolutely not. But I see what it has given me and what I've gained is a lot more than what I've lost over the years, hands down."
"One of the greatest prisons people live in is the fear of what other people think."

What does it mean to be a fixer? Is being a fixer a good thing or a bad thing? In this episode, your host, Stephanie Cooper dives in deep to these topics. Being a fixer is when someone tries to fix everything for everyone. This isn't good because you tend to attract people you think you can fix, turn into a free therapist, and feel responsible to fix things that are not your responsibility. Instead of trying to fix everyone else, be a fixer of yourself. Assess the situation and know your motivation. Empower people to fix their own problem and encourage them to figure out different resolutions to their problems.
This week we are talking about healthy boundaries again, and this time Stephanie is joined by Kim Mayes! They kick off the episode by sharing an anonymous quote, "Walls keep everybody out, boundaries show people where the door is." Boundaries are important for many reasons, boundaries with others and more importantly, yourself. Boundaries are made starting from childhood, and as you grow, it's vital to evaluate yourself and shift them. As they do come with sacrifice, you need to let others you're serious about it, and create your non-negotiables. Listeners will be ready to love yourself by setting up these boundaries, be intentional, and focus on the positive!
