Bromancing The Stone episodes

  • Episode #11: Leap Year

It only happens once every four years, so we better review this movie now, or else we'll have bad luck! Rene and Max have watched the 2010 film Leap Year and they go over the absolute beauty of the countryside in this movie, the completely terrible green screen backgrounds that are also in the movie, and what Rene's perfect wedding reception would look like (if you've seen the film, you may be able to guess). Plus there's "Tasty Tidbits", "The Kiss" and "What Happens After Ever After". So throw this episode in the wash. it'll be grand!

  • Episode #10: 10 Things I Hate About You

We know that the thing you hate the most about this podcast is the you don't hate it. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all. So to reward your "non-hatred" of this podcast, we got an episode under 70 minutes long! There's still "Tasty Tidbits" and discussions about "The Kiss", and our verdicts at the end, so don't worry, nothing is lost or forgotten about... except for "What Happens After Ever After" which we totally forgot. Just know that since everyone is in high school, none of the romances last. That's what happens. Anyway, enjoy the episode!

  • Episode #9: Valentine's Day

It's a special holiday for love and Romcoms, so Max and Rene decided to watch a movie named after the occasion. Along with the review of the  movie Valentine's Day, you'll get a super-sized version of "Tasty Tidbits" and if you stick until the end of the episode, you'll get to hear an additional outtake from the mid-show break. We're spicing things up on this special holiday week, so relax and enjoy the show!

  • Episode #8: The Wedding Date

Look, at the end of the day if you see that the episode is almost 2 hours and you'd rather give up than try, then no episode is ever gonna be worth it. So join Rene and Max as we go over a film that is less than 90 minutes long for almost 120 minutes. This has a couple fun stories from Rene and Max's past, an analysis of how fun this particular wedding would be to attend, and plenty more. Enjoy the episode and please rate, share and subscribe!

  • Episode #7: How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days

Podcast yourself... you know, like "frost yourself"... Yeah, that one was a bit of a stretch. This week Rene and Max go over how Urban Dictionary defines "Bromancing The Stone", their affinity for the card game "Bulls***", and who in their right mind would allow an inexperienced and unlicensed driver to operate a motorcycle on a boardwalk in NYC! Plus, "Tasty Tidbits", "What Happens After Ever After", and "The Verdict" are all discussed. Enjoy and make sure to Like, Subscribe/Follow, and Share the podcast!

  • Episode #6: Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Inside you. Insiiiiide you. How this podcast longs to be inside of you... This may be our creepiest description yet, and we apologize for it. Rene and Max review the 2008 film Forgetting Sarah Marshall and discuss the incredible comedy written in the movie, and whether the romance matches the level of the jokes. There are also "Tasty Tidbits", "What Happens After Ever After", and the final verdict as to whether we would F***, Marry, or Kill the film. Enjoy the episode and remember to like, share, and review the podcast. It all helps!

  • Episode #5: Notting Hill

This week's episode centers around the 1999 Romcom Notting Hill. The banter isn't as prevalent in this episode due to a major difference of opinion about the movie, but it does lead to some interesting discussions about insecurities and friendships with exes. Also, there's "Tasty Tidbits" and "What Happens After Ever After", so we're still the same podcast (with substandard audio quality) that you know and love. Enjoy the episode, and remember, we're just a podcast, standing in front of TENS and TENS of listeners, asking you to share, rate, and review us.

  • Episode #4: When Harry Met Sally

This week Rene and Max discuss the classic Romcom When Harry Met Sally. Along with discussing the movie itself, the bros discuss a grand romantic gesture from one of their pasts that may or may not have been "too much." There's also "Tasty Tidbits", "What Happens After Ever After", and grades given for the kiss (or kisses) in the movie. It's a fun conversation that may include a bit too hot of a mic (sorry about the heavy breathing at times). When it comes to a good time, we hope you'll have what we're having this episode... Get it? I know. I'm sorry for that joke.

  • Episode #3: Just Friends

As Samantha James sings: "To forgive is divine/ so let's have a glass of wine/ and listen to the podcast/ until the end of time." Rene and Max review the 2005 film Just Friends and the discussion really goes all over the place. They discuss Rene's romantic ineptitude, Max's love for Ryan Reynolds, and their joint dismissal of the "Friend Zone" concept. Plus, there's "Tasty Tidbits", "Max's Real World Ruminations", and "What Happens After Ever After." They did forget to grade the kiss of the movie though, which Rene gives a "C" for being unimaginative but serviceable, and Max doesn't give a grade because he didn't respond to Rene's text asking for a grade before this description was written. Anyway, enjoy the podcast!

  • Episode #2: Love Actually
Because it's Christmas (and at Christmas, you tell the truth), Rene and Max watched and reviewed the holiday classic Love Actually! In this episode you'll get to hear the debut of "Tasty Tidbits", Rene's definitive ranking of the storylines from best to worst, and an argument regarding a key moment in the movie. Remember, you can now follow the podcast on Instagram: @BromancingTheStonePodcast and Twitter: @BroTheStonePod. Thanks for listening and remember, to Rene and Max, you are perfect.
