After a long and grueling 2022-23 Bronco Sports season, Jim and Jordan will be taking some much needed time off. There will be no new episodes in June and July, but the boys will be back with a vengeance the first week of August to get you ready for the Bronco Football season! For the first time in what feels like forever, the guys had A LOT of Bronco related stuff to talk about. Including starting the #nominatehook movement and the Bronco baseball team being one win away from playing in the MAC tournament. They have three games left against bitter rival CMU. It's seem like every time we record a new episode, big news drops right after. In this case, it was the gambling scandal within the Detroit Lions organization. Two players were suspended for a year and immediately cut from the team. WR's Stanley Berryhill and Jameson Williams were both suspended for six games. Jordan also has so more troubling facts about Jameson that have him doubting the future of the young star. What does this all mean for the Lions in the NFL draft tomorrow? The Bronco Football Spring Showcase at Waldo Stadium this Saturday! The festivities start at 11:30am and the football game will kick off at 2p! Bronco Softball is on the road on the road this weekend to take on bitter rival CMU. Bronco baseball also hit the road for DeKalb for a weekend set with Northern Illinois. March Madness may have wrapped up on Monday with the men's championship game, but some controversy in the women's title game on Sunday has kept the madness rolling. In addition, the NHL has a bit of a "problem" on their hands. Major League Baseball may just be getting going, but WMU baseball and softball are about halfway through their respective seasons! With the Bronco Hockey out of contention in the NCAA tournament, it's time for baseball and softball here in Southwest Michigan! The Bronco baseball team played their first home game of this season on Tuesday and the Bronco softball team plays their first home game this Saturday which also happens to be April Fools Day! Lots of Lions football to talk about with the rumors swirling as we approach the draft at the end of April. For a second straight year, the WMU Bronco hockey team has made the NCAA Tournament! The road to Tampa Bay and the Frozen Four begins on Thursday for the Broncos. After locking up the three seed in the Manchester regional, they will be taking on the Boston University Terriers at 2p. You can listen to the broadcast on 106-5 Jack FM and watch the game on ESPN2! The victor will then take on the winner of Denver and Cornell for a spot in the Frozen Four.
