Bill Mantlo borrows heavily from Jack Kirby's wild '70s work for this strange little tale.

The finale of the 4-part Marcosa Saga and the original ending of the series. Saved by a call from the governor of Marvel, WbN was spared the chair and switched to a bi-monthly publishing schedule for a year. If nothing else, this ending has a kind epilogue where Jack reflects on his relationships of those who are closest to him and The Beast.

It's part 3 of The Brawl in Hall! The Hassle in the Castle! The Thrilla in the Villa! Belaric Marcosa moves to his endgame and puts Jack & the gang in hair-raising check. And, editorial makes a surprise announcement about the future of our favorite werewolf's book.
