The Blues were awful admittedly but this game was all about Klopp’s men and they whether could respond and they boy did they do that. The Pressing Monster Hendo was back and the Boy Wonder Bajcetic sparkled in a delightful romp which leaves us all hoping that the Reds have turned a corner as we approach Newcastle and Madrid. We’re joined by friend of the show, Mathew Fortnam, to discuss another defeat. A listless and limp opening 12 minutes leaves Liverpool two goals down after meek defending from Matip, Gomez et al. The team mustered a response particularly in a spirited start to the second half but couldn’t score as Wolves sealed the win late on. There is a deep psychological malaise in the squad and the players don’t look capable of performing at anywhere near their potential. A response is required in the Derby next Monday. Up the Reds!
