We discuss neurodiversity, what it is, some of the causes, as well as how it impacts our lives, personally and professionally. We explore how Internal Family Systems conceptualizes it, and shared reflections from our lived experience, with a special focus on the South Asian community, the challenges and needs within our community.

They reflect on coming out to their caregiver and we explore the parts of them that are emerging now. Coming out is a complex layered process and it has taken Khadija a LOT of inner work to get to the place she is now. This is a short trailer/introduction to the podcast, and why it is important to me to create a resource like this. In this podcast, guest therapists use internal family systems (IFS) therapy or 'parts work' to support Black Indigenous and People of colour (or BIPOC) guest clients on real issues they’re facing.

I'll also be sharing IFS meditations, psychoeducation about psychotherapy and parts work (from my understanding so far), and try to bring on various guest therapists as we go along, and continue to amplify BIPOC voices in the IFS community, and psychotherapy community as a whole.
