Brown noise sounds like ocean waves or a heavy wind. When compared to white or pink noise brown noise has a damped or soft quality. Brown noise is like the reverse of violet noise. The noise is named after Brownian motion and not the color of its noise, brown noise is actually a lower version of pink noise.  Brown Noise Original is from the classic version of White Noise and is included with the free and standard versions of White Noise.
