BRtistic Podcast

Welcome to Season 1 Episode 10 of the BRtistic  Podcast! Today's artist is a regular modular mollusk, and a connoisseur of rainbow spaghetti. With influence from rock, jazz fusion, and experimental electronic music, our musical guest pairs the modular synth and guitar in a beautiful way that may confuse most. This Baton Rouge born and raised artist takes you on a journey to experience the combination of worlds otherwise thought un-pairable. BRtistic proudly presents: Matthew Drago!

Welcome to Season 1 Episode 8 of the BRtistic Podcast! Today's artists endeavor to create something that is greater than the sum of its parts, and to share their growth and passion through music with their listeners. As Baton Rouge natives, Louisiana has seemingly left its muddy mark on this band's music, thus coining their genre: Swamp Surf. Think sounds from the 60s and 70s with modern-day raw, fuzzy, indie textures. BRtistic proudly presents: Kinky Vanilla!

Welcome to Season 1 Episode 9 of the BRtistic Podcast! Born in Ecuador and moved to the States in 2000, and over to Baton Rouge in 2014 now having resided here for 8 years, today's artist is fueled by self-expression. This introspective lyricist concerns his words with the facts of personal trauma, love, and politics over a jazz-inspired hip-hop instrumental. BRtistic proudly presents: Olde Spanish!

Welcome to Season 1 Episode 7 of the BRtistic Podcast! Long time beloved collaborators with Skyline Distortions, today's musical guests have always strived for originality and full inclusivity. Bass, synths, and drums are all what today's artists love. The trio's influence is brought in by jam-tronica meets electro-funk meets jam band. This episode's performance is a genre-breaking, live bass musical masterpiece unlike anything you've heard before. BRtistic proudly presents: Stackin

Today's musical guests are the epitome of smooth tones with Bob Kling's (of Captain Green fame) masterful control of the upright bass, paired with Chris Coreil's velvety vocals and whimsical workings of the piano.
