We've made it to the second week of the 2020 Australian Open family! The Bruthas check in on their predictions, and talk about the major upsets that have transpired so far in the tournament. It's been a doozy so far!

The also share their thoughts on the shocking passing of Kobe Bryant and others this past weekend. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the families that were affected by this tremendous tragedy.

This week, the Bruthas jump into the draws...the Australian Open draws! They break down the infamous "quarter-of-death" which sets Coco Gauff up against Venus Williams in the first round AGAIN (shame on you AO!), and the rest of the playing field on both sides of the tournament.

There's also another unique element of the tournament that the players will have to deal with this year, the deteriorating air quality brought on by the continuing bush fires happening all over Australia. The Bruthas discuss this, and what the Australian Open officials are doing to prepare for worst, and keep all of the players/participants as safe and healthy as possible.

One way or another, there will be DRAMA in this first Grand Slam of the year/decade, and the Bruthas will be there to cover it! It all starts here!

Ms. Nancy has been an avid tennis fan for over 30 years, so much so that she schedules her personal calendar around the sport, and shuts down any outside contact with the world when certain matches are being played. In the episode, she gives her unflinching account of the game and the players within it, which includes cementing a definitive position on the polarizing G.O.A.T. debate in men's tennis, her humorous take on Naomi Osaka's "unhappiness," and a critical view of Patrick Mouratoglou that CANNOT be missed. It's a wrap family! The Bruthas close out 2019 by covering the final tournaments of the year, the Next Gen Finals, the Fed Cup Finals, and pay their respects to a few players that recently announced their retirements (some expected, some shocking). Also, with the Olympics coming up, they debate whether or not Serena can capture a "Golden Slam" in 2020.

Family, the Bruthas have a special treat for you this week! They have invited their very first guest to join them on the court to discuss the game that's so near and dear to their hearts. And quite naturally, their very first guest on Bruthas on Tennis, is a Sistah on Tennis!

Ms. Marsha Douglas, an avid fan and player of the game with a surgical backhand and a hammer for a forehand, stops in on the show to discuss her introduction to the game as a youngster on the island of Jamaica, her experience having a parent-coach and its possible advantages/disadvantages, her favorite old school/new school players, and much more! Tune in to get to know a little more about Ms. Douglas, her game, and even if she's down to be a possible guest host on the show!
