This week we take a break from the regular Minicast to bring you Jon Schieman of local Edmonton metal band With Malice!

5 Years ago With Malice formed and with a hyper fast, polished sound they would become a staple of the Alberta metal scene.

With their album Hail Kraken becoming a cult hit in Edmonton and on iTunes, it was unexpected news that the band has amicably decided to call it quits. Other projects becoming far more intensive for members Jesse Leduc, Alex McIntosh, Ryan Kippen and Jonathan Schieman the band is getting together for one last destructive evening on October 8th at the Rendezvous Pub in Edmonton, Alberta.

"A 'Savage Death/Thrash metal' band from Edmonton. Formed in Summer 2011 under the name "The Others" they have gone through a handful of lineup changes to settle on their current 4 piece incarnation.

The band's trademark hook riffs pummel you at breakneck speeds and their live show is nothing but pure, raw intensity from start to finish."
