Thursday means Thursday Night Football, and Coach opens Week 6 with Seahawks at Broncos (SI). Both teams are 3-2, but Coach argues Seattle is better than people think and Denver is living on preseason hype. He points to Bo Nix's 123-yard game in the win over the Chargers and a season line of 942 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions (ClutchPoints), J.K. Dobbins' slow start, Jaxon Smith-Njigba's seven receiving touchdowns and the Cooper Kupp fourth-down play that came up short against the 49ers (Seahawks.com). He calls letting Kenneth Walker III go to Kansas City a calculated mistake by Seattle (KCTV5) and warns against player props on a Thursday. Picks are Coach's opinion, and lines move.
With the Brewers up 3-0 on the Dodgers (MLB.com), Coach asks what a sweep would mean and builds a no-salary-cap NFL super team to show what the Dodgers have done: Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen, Bijan Robinson, CeeDee Lamb, JSN, Puka Nacua, Aaron Donald, Myles Garrett and Micah Parsons, plus the chat's picks of Justin Jefferson and Brock Bowers. Then he takes on the players' side of MLB's salary-cap fight (PhillyVoice). He calls them delusional, predicts no baseball next season without a cap, and backs a salary floor, noting the Dodgers' payroll is bigger than the Brewers', Rays' and Guardians' combined (Front Office Sports).
The back half gets personal: why BTT mixes sports and wrestling, why Coach stopped reading his mentions, why "we don't do podcasts, we do shows," and the WWE-era dirt-sheet writer who trashed him for six months and then turned out to be a fan writing "as a heel." In the chat segment Coach says Roman Reigns should be a special attraction rather than the main event while he splits time with Hollywood (Yahoo Sports; Street Fighter opens Oct 16). He also talks about how Coach and Bro critiques wrestling and about plans for BTT's premium membership.
Housekeeping: new VOD tonight at 7 PM ET (who will be the last unbeaten team to lose?); the BTT Hot Take Hotline (60 seconds or less); virtual meet-and-greets with Coach or Vince Russo through Intros Live (@BookIntros on X), Tuesday, Oct 27, at 8 PM ET; no live shows Friday, Oct 16 (Coach does a virtual signing through the K&S Facebook page); Coach at K&S WrestleFest on Saturday with Lita, Snitsky, RVD and Max Caster; BTT is back live Monday at 10 AM ET.

Coach, Mikey P and Peyton Lodge open with the NLCS: the Brewers beat the Dodgers 6-2 in Game 3 for a 3-0 series lead, with Jake Bauers' 11-pitch at-bat ending in the go-ahead two-run homer. Peyton says it's time to stop blaming Dodgers scapegoats and give the 103-win Brewers their flowers, and he's done with the "small ball" label for a lineup with four 18-plus-homer hitters. Then the money: the Dodgers' payroll tops the Brewers, Rays and Guardians combined, and the crew debates who that helps as MLB heads toward a lockout fight over a salary cap. Mikey shoots down the social-media theory that the Dodgers are tanking for the union.
Topic two is Mike Tomlin on players-only meetings ("I think you're dead") and the Cowboys' players-only meeting after losing to Tampa Bay. Mikey and Peyton don't buy the concept, Coach wants Brian Schottenheimer to hold players accountable, and everyone looks ahead to Cowboys at Packers on Sunday Night Football. After a BlueChew spot and the TNF picks (opinion only; lines move), the crew previews Seahawks at Broncos: how big tonight is for Seattle in a division led by the unbeaten 49ers, why Peyton thinks Denver needs it more, and why Coach calls this the most entertaining first five weeks he can remember, capped by Peyton's call of Kyle Hamilton's overtime pick.

Vince Russo opens with a retraction: after seeing new angles of Tiffany Stratton's ladder fall at Money in the Bank, he says nobody could have caught her. Coach announces a Coach and Bro combo night on Intro Live on Tuesday, Oct. 27 (six 10-minute one-on-one sessions).
Then it's all Roman Reigns. Reigns was at the Street Fighter premiere in Los Angeles while Raw ended with the Bloodline vs. the 946, and Russo's take is that, to TKO, Hollywood now supersedes the wrestling show. Coach asks what that does to the talent who are there every week, from LA Knight to the 946 and newcomer Carmelo Hayes. The guys react to two clips from Reigns' Club Shay Shay interview (house shows vs. TV money, and backstage politics), Russo pitches the "layers" he'd give Jaida Parker and Carmelo Hayes, and Coach compares Reigns' approach to The Rock's schedule.
Super Chats bring Russo's case that Reigns' October 2018 leukemia announcement changed how fans saw him, and the audible he'd have called at the 2015 Royal Rumble in Philadelphia. Coach asks whether there's a ceiling under Oba Femi, Gunther and Reigns (Coach's count of 2026 results; Femi's only loss came in his trilogy with Brock Lesnar), and why Bronson Reed was off Raw after losing to Femi again. Coach thinks Bron Breakker should have won the briefcase; Russo says follow the merch, as the Penta replica briefcase hits WWE Shop.
To close: WWE Main Event's move to Rumble on Wednesday nights, Michael Hayes in WWE's micro-drama Agent of Shadows (Russo: "Cocoon 3"), justice for Chelsea Green after her Raw loss to Roxanne Perez ahead of Crown Jewel, Leon Slater, the 946 and Carmelo Hayes, and the Coach and Bro-lette wheel.
Housekeeping: No Coach and Bro on Friday, Oct. 16 (Coach is traveling); back Monday at 2 PM ET. Intro Live combo night Tue Oct. 27, 8 PM ET. The Hot Take Hotline opens next week (60 seconds or less). Coach signs at K&S WrestleFest on Long Island, Fri (virtual) and Sat (in person). All shows: https://bttstudios.tv

It's Wednesday, so it's college football and rants. Coach and Mikey P open with the new AP Top 25: Georgia climbs to No. 1 after winning 20-17 in Tuscaloosa, Texas tumbles to No. 7, Kentucky sits at No. 15 after beating LSU 35-34 in overtime, and Lane Kiffin's LSU has slid to No. 22 — three spots ahead of a ranked Northwestern. Coach argues Kiffin's arrogance after the Ole Miss loss is catching up with him; Mikey makes the case for Will Stein's Kentucky and breaks down the race for the four first-round byes.
Rant Wednesday: Mikey goes after Micah Parsons' podcast comments that Jayden Daniels "probably cost my man Dan Quinn his job," while Coach insists Daniels gets paid long before Quinn stays. Coach then rants about Kelly Clarkson calling out a Brooklyn shop on social media, talks fame and substance in the influencer era, and shares a dream of turning the brand's reach into give-back videos.
Back to School previews the weekend's biggest games: No. 2 Notre Dame at No. 8 BYU with College GameDay in Provo, No. 18 Oklahoma State at No. 20 Houston, No. 3 Miami vs. Florida State and Mike Norvell's hot seat (preview), No. 6 Alabama at No. 14 Tennessee, and No. 4 Ohio State vs. No. 5 Indiana. The show closes with Sean McVay owning Monday night's special-teams failures after the Rams released kicker Harrison Mevis. Takes and predictions are the hosts' opinions.
Housekeeping: The Coach and Bro today at 2 PM ET · no Coach and Company this Friday (Coach's Facebook Live autograph session) · meet Coach Saturday at K&S WrestleFest in Hicksville, NY · the new BTT Hot Take Hotline (link pinned on @thecoachrules) · sponsored by BlueChew — go to BlueChew.com, promo code COACH: third month of BlueChew Gold free when you buy two, plus 10% off and free overnight shipping on your first order.

Coach opens Tuesday's Afternoon Drive with his Week 6 power rankings: the unbeaten 49ers at No. 1 after a 32-29 win in Seattle, the 4-0 Chiefs off their bye, the 5-0 Vikings, the Bills and the Patriots, with the Bengals, Lions, Dolphins and Vikings on bye this week (NFL.com). Then breaking news: the Rams released kicker Harrison Mevis after he went 0-for-2 in Monday night's 37-34 overtime loss to Buffalo, including a 48-yarder that was blocked in OT (CBS Sports).
Then it's every Week 6 game in two minutes or less. Coach sizes up Seahawks-Broncos on Thursday night, Texans-Jaguars in London after Houston's trade for Marvin Harrison Jr., and Ravens-Browns. He says Nick Sirianni has become polarizing after the last-second loss to Jacksonville (NBC Sports Philadelphia), and he isn't buying Ben Johnson's "no determination has been made" on the Bears' quarterback (Yahoo Sports). He also covers John Harbaugh on the Giants' tie, Jets-Patriots, Steelers-Bucs, and Cam Ward being asked whether he's "used to losing" (Yahoo Sports).
After the BlueChew break, Coach questions Sean McVay's conservative overtime call, says Josh Allen needs a ring to be truly elite, and says the 0-5 Chargers could be 0-9 before they see the Jets. He also plays Jerry Jones' Green Bay story from his Dallas radio spot (OutKick) ahead of Cowboys-Packers on Sunday night. He closes on Monday night's Commanders-49ers, calling Washington's final-seconds clock management in the tie with the Giants a fireable offense for Dan Quinn (PFT). Takes are Coach's own; picks are opinion and lines move.

Roman Reigns retained the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight at Money in the Bank in New Orleans, and the match opened the show (Sacnilk). JDFromNY calls it Reigns' second-best match of 2026, behind CM Punk at WrestleMania, and Knight's best ever. He says Knight "got beat by WWE politics." Coach points out the irony of Triple H, who was told at WrestleMania 18 that the world title is the most important thing in the business, sending it out first. Then Raw: Solo Sikoa and the Usos against The 946 closed the show and Carmelo Hayes joined The 946 with a crowbar, but Reigns wasn't there (WWE.com). Coach puts up the social post Reigns made during Raw, promoting Street Fighter. JD's verdict: Reigns can be a movie star or a full-time champion, not both.
Penta, the men's Money in the Bank winner, opened Raw with the briefcase. Coach would rather have seen Bron Breakker win; JD says the unexpected is the most beautiful thing in pro wrestling. They both like WWE selling its toys and briefcases inside the show, but not the setup of Je'Von Evans' trip through the ambulance roof. Tiffany Stratton won the women's ladder match, and the hosts take on the risky spots and the lack of build. JD loves Carmelo Hayes' move to The 946.
Then the news that took over the show: WWE was still advertising Crown Jewel for Riyadh on Nov. 7 (POST Wrestling) while reports said the company is looking at moving it (Ringside News). Nothing official yet. This comes after deadly strikes on Riyadh's airport (WUNC/AP). Coach and JD say WWE should move the show, and Coach tells the story of the Tribute to the Troops trip he turned down 20 years ago. Super Chats cover Canelo still fighting in Riyadh on Oct. 31 (Boxing Insider), WWE Main Event moving to Rumble on Wednesdays at 8 PM ET (WWE.com), the scariest ladder match, AEW talent in New Japan and Max Caster being dropped by TNA after his Bound For Glory rap (POST Wrestling).
Housekeeping: This episode is sponsored by BlueChew GOLD (promo code 2COUNT), with a new ad starring Big Tommy C. Congratulations to Amazing Red on the TNA Hall of Fame and the X-Division Championship at Bound For Glory (Wrestling Inc). The 2 Count is live every Tuesday at 11:30 AM ET.

Coach calls it a week of dumb coaching, and Monday night was Exhibit A. Mikey P and Supi join him to break down Buffalo's 37-34 overtime win in L.A. (PFT): Josh Allen's 10 carries for 121 yards, Puka Nacua's 17 catches, James Cook's fumbles, and Sean McVay settling for a 48-yard try in overtime that Buffalo blocked. Coach argues 60-yard kicks have convinced coaches a 48-yarder is a chip shot, Mikey wants coaches to stop leaning on analytics graphics, and the crew credits Joe Brady's second-half adjustments. Then the Rams at 2-3 and the stretch that decides their season.
Gridiron Time looks ahead to Week 6: Seahawks at Broncos on Thursday night in throwback uniforms (Broncos.com), the 0-5 Chargers at the unbeaten Chiefs coming off their bye, Bills at Raiders and whether Fernando Mendoza gets a look, Cowboys at Packers on Sunday night after Dallas's Thursday loss to Tampa Bay (NFL.com), and the Commanders heading to the 5-0 49ers on Monday night after their 27-27 tie with the Giants (Giants.com). Coach says Josh Allen has to carry the load from here; Mikey predicts a 49ers blowout and Coach pushes back. Picks and lines discussed are opinion only, and lines move.
Baseball closes it out: the Brewers take a 2-0 NLCS lead on the two-time defending champion Dodgers (MLB.com), and the Guardians win ALCS Game 1 over the Rays 7-3 behind José Ramírez (NBC Sports), and Coach explains why Ramírez is everything you want in a leader.

The Monday Night Grind previews Bills at Rams on Monday Night Football. Coach opens with the weekend's chaos, and Big Tommy C asks how Dan Quinn still has a job after the Commanders ran out the clock on themselves and settled for a 27-27 tie with the Giants. Mikey P is done with Nick Sirianni after the Eagles' last-second loss to the Jaguars, Raphael Esparza says the Steelers' offense is for real, and the panel agrees Aaron Rodgers has the most annoying celebration in football.
Then it's Best Bets from every panelist, the world premiere of Big Tommy C's BlueChew Gold commercial, and the Tale of the Tape: Mikey P says Josh Allen has to carry the Bills tonight, the guys weigh James Cook against Kyren Williams, and the news that DJ Moore is inactive hits the desk live, putting Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir in the spotlight against Puka Nacua and the Rams. Everyone makes a first-touchdown pick for the Legends Lounge before final takes.

Money in the Bank fallout. Roman Reigns kept the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight in New Orleans, and the title match opened the show after Triple H said Reigns demanded to go first. Coach says that killed any cash-in drama; Vince Russo gives WWE the benefit of the doubt but pitches the finish he would have run, a questionable count that gives Knight a real beef, and how he'd use Sami Zayn to get Knight to the next level. Triple H put Knight over after the show, and the guys react to Conrad Thompson calling Reigns overrated (Russo: "they never give Roman a story").
The men's ladder match: Penta won the briefcase, Je'Von Evans went through the roof of an ambulance, and Ben Hameen's theory that the spot sold Mattel's WWE Slambulance toy with its breakaway roof. Russo on protecting Trick Williams and Bron Breakker, and why Bronson Reed needed heat on Oba Femi. Then Tiffany Stratton's win in a women's ladder match full of dangerous spots, and Russo's "we have to dial this back."
Super Chats bring Coach's first-hand account of the Plane Ride From Hell, Russo on being erased from TNA history, and the Triple H, Stephanie and Chyna story. To close, Crown Jewel is still set for Riyadh on Nov. 7 after attacks on Saudi airports: Coach would let every talent say no, Russo doesn't see Triple H putting wrestlers in danger, and Coach tells his Afghanistan base story.

Coach calls it maybe the craziest NFL weekend he can remember, and Mikey P and Brandon Combs (BetMGM) agree. It starts with Sunday night: Baltimore erased an eight-point deficit late, Tyler Huntley led a 14-play, 7:03 overtime drive, and after Michael Penix Jr. went out Tua Tagovailoa's last-gasp throw was picked by Kyle Hamilton in a 30-23 Ravens win (PFT). Mikey says Tua is done as a backup option; Coach gives him a little more grace. Then the "best win of the day" debate: the Patriots' 45-17 rout of the Raiders (with Fernando Mendoza's NFL debut), Detroit's 45-21 blowout of Arizona, the unbeaten Vikings, and Brandon — a Bears fan — crowning the Packers after their 31-7 answer to Luther Burden III's "make them quit" line (ESPN). Brandon wants Case Keenum starting until Caleb Williams is back; Mikey says all signs point to Caleb returning in Week 6.
The middle of the show is the coaching meltdowns: the Eagles kicking it short with eight seconds left in London before Cam Little's 57-yard walk-off for the Jaguars (NFL.com), and Washington letting the clock run out inside the 30 in overtime for a 27-27 tie with the Giants. Brandon calls Dan Quinn's handling "a fireable offense," and Coach lays out his thesis — defensive-minded head coaches don't grasp the totality of the moment — going through the list of current defensive-minded head coaches. The crew then picks the best of the three unbeaten teams (49ers, Vikings, Chiefs), and Coach walks through the Vikings' run of low-scoring wins and the gauntlet waiting after their bye (Vikings schedule).
College football: Georgia is the new AP No. 1 after winning at Alabama, and Oklahoma beat No. 1 Texas on a walk-off after two late Arch Manning interceptions (PFT). Coach calls it a stamp on an overhyped career; Brandon defends Arch; Mikey says Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith will be the No. 1 overall pick. Baseball closes it out: the Brewers took NLCS Game 1 from the Dodgers 2-1 (CBS Sports), the Rays and Guardians meet in the ALCS, Aaron Judge's "go all-in" message (theScore), and a real debate about whether a small-market World Series hands the players leverage — or whether owners are headed for a lockout. Coach also needles the WNBA Finals promo (Dream vs. Valkyries on NBC (NBC Sports Bay Area)), and the guys answer a Super Chat with DFS plays for tonight's Bills–Rams Monday-nighter. Picks and plays are opinion only.
Housekeeping: Coach and Bro at 2 PM ET (Money in the Bank fallout); the Monday Night Grind at 7 PM ET (Bills at Rams, best bets, the Legends Lounge); Coach signs autographs this weekend at K&S WrestleFest (virtual Friday, in person Saturday on Long Island — see the K&S WrestleFest Facebook page); all BTT shows at one video link and one audio link.
