    Here at the studio, we love to uphold the proper traditions. This season, Manny Oso keeps his life of watching annoying Christmas Movies. Some are hits,… some are not. This go-around, the films brought us the annoying game, Is This a Child or Is This An Adult? In the new Disney+ series, The Santa Clauses, the new elves are actually played by kids. Child actors hitting these one-liners like adults. Nicky Trendz is pretty surprised. She wonders with Manny Oso why not just use kids for these roles more often? The kids know how to act now!     A few weeks ago Forbes released their yearly “30 Under 30 List”. This is the list of people Forbes consideres the young go getters that are helping change and mold and influence and make the world better. This year, the cover for the issue was none other than Bad Bunny. El Conejo, himself. This was great and well deserved… then, they decided to dub him The King Of Pop.
    That’s where the conversation started. Many people out there have voiced their opinions, to and fro on this King Of Pop title.
    - - wait, when did Beníto turn Pop? We must have missed that when he has doing all his music and interviews in Spanish, singing with Mexican Bandas and flying 20 feet off the top rope in WWE.
    Well, Nicky Trendz does not agree. She’s more inclined to say there is no King. MJ was the only one and the title is unnecessary to anyone else making a name for themselves. She scoffs at any attempt to name a new one. Manny Oso doesn’t think you can call yourself a King if you can’t command the masses. So far, he says Taylor & Beyoncé are the only ones who can do that! Amazing artist, yes. Great performer, duh! Perfect spokesperson for any brand, arguably yes! … king of Pop? That’s the argument…

    Duckies, what have you heard about NYC? What are the worst things? The best things? The stereotypical situations…. What about Tampa? Any Tampa Bay jokes out there?

    The stereotypes people have about NYC, and Tampa can be funny. But they can also hurt! I mean, have any of you ever been to Tampa?
    Today‘s episode has Nicky Trendz wondering where these ideas come from. Isn’t crime up everywhere? What makes NYC so different? Don’t people pay outrageous rent in all major cities? Aren’t there worse Florida cities than Tampa?
    … well that last one is up for debate. Manny Oso even found a list of jabs and jokes Hollywood has made at Tampa’s expense. Or as some would call “the Sacramento of the the Eastern Coast”
    We’re here to set the record straight.. or try to. You won’t get mugged just by walking around the NYC subway. You won’t get attacked by an alligator near the drains in Florida. Some of these are harder to disprove than others. This should be fun!

    There are so many heroes in the comics, that we should all try to find someone to relate to. Maybe it’s for their Origin Story, maybe it matches yours? Or is it their gallery of allies, and they remind you of your friends?

    … or is it, maybe… their mental issues, and you can relate?
    So Nicky Trendz had to ask herself, why am I such a Batman Fan? Does his game plan work? He catches these guys, but why are his villains always escaping? Is he just not that good of a hero? Actually, what’s wrong with all of them?
    When she decided to ask The Chat Bots, she got a whole list! We need to bring this to you guys. You wouldn’t believe the disorders these heroes have been categorized as. Abandonment Issues, Disassociation Disorders, PTSD… adrenaline junkies, who knows! But we all have issues, right? These guys have SUPER Issues!

  • Gentrification, am I right?
    What’s the last big change you remember seeing in your neighborhood? Like, a shop closing or opening. A Citi Bike rack installed…. A Cupcake shop? (That’s Manny Oso asking)
    There has been quite the increase in gentrified planning around the recording studio. Nicky Trendz sees these app-based bike racks popping up taking parking spaces, wondering how many more they need to add. While Manny Oso sees them and wonders how many more WILL they add… since he uses them!
    Everyone is an opinion on gentrification. Some good some bad. Mostly bad. Manny Oso thinks some of these changes can be enjoyed. New shops. New resources.- - Nicky Trendz knows all these improvements always come with a cost. It’s the on going debate!

  • Are Scary Movies Even Scary?
    Okay guys, so it’s Spooky Season. October is halfway thru and we need to get those Horror flicks going.
    This month has been a bit of let down though, cuz most of the scary movies we played have been making us laugh. No one likes that, right? If you do that’s fine. But we need frights!
    Nicky Trendz lets us know where these failed. The faces don’t say Horror and the stories don’t compel enough. Manny Oso had to resort to the 80’s and bring back Jason… with hilarious results!
    But Manny has his own complaints about the state of Horror Films. While there’s some gems out there, there are too many fakes. We need to discuss this!

    Duckies, how are we now at the point that there is no one left to date, except ourselves? While browsing the articles, Manny Oso found this gem on the NY Post about Master Dating? It’s a TikTok trend that all about taking Yourself out on the perfect date. Like, dinner for 1, no phone at the table. Dress up nice. Uber Black… you gotta see it!
    It did get your hosts thinking about things. How bad is it, really? For single people. It seems the older we get the more we see it. The average relationship last about 2 years these days, before it’s comes time to call it. Anyone lasting beyond that, must REALLY like each other!
