Bubble Bath Stories

They always say, the higher your rise the bigger your fall… or something like that! Duckies, this past week we all witnessed two major falls. Both have all of America full of opinions.

First, we want to bring up 45. This week, ex-President Donald Trump was officially indicted on charges stemming from a Hush Money Scandal he is involved in. Boy are people talking about this one! Pornstars, crooked lawyers, fake campaign donations and Trump at the center of it! Manny Oso has one question, who hides money like this as a campaign donation?

And then there’s screen star Jonathan Majors. Last week, this man was involved I his own scandal. After being arrested and released, we all learned we allegedly assaulted his girlfriend in a car over a cell phone and text message. We’ve all heard the story, but most are baffled to see it with this man. The fuel is added when we all get to see the screenshots! Let’s just say, this make Nicky Trendz question the purpose of them. You be the judge! These stories are still fresh and developing, so let’s all stay tuned!

But anyways, you tell us!

- Do you think it was a good idea to release the text messages?

- How would you go about hiding $130,000?

- How often does your spell-check make you look bad?

See the screenshots for yourself:

So the last few weeks, Duckies, Nicky Trendz and Manny Oso have been working on & releasing episodes for the new Group Discussions segment. So, while they may seem put-together on Social Media, today’s episode they want to tell you about some Fails they’ve been having these last few weeks!

But it happens to all of us, right? No one can have a truly perfect week.

Manny Oso starts off with his problem with Gaming. Let’s get to the point, where did all the damn Cut Scenes come from?! He’s not a big fan of “sitting around to find out”.

Nicky comes in with the frustration of her Birthday announcements. Not that it was bad, but let’s just say Work Place Birthday Shout-Outs can backfire. Wait, isn’t it HR’s job to notify everyone of an upcoming Birthday?

But don’t worry. Cuz after that, there’s nosy neighbors complaining about nothing, Porch Pirates ruing our recording upgrades, and unexpected entrance lines!

Remember, adult maturity means choosing your battles.

But anyways, you tell us!

When did you first realize you started maturing as an Adult?

What’s the deal with porch pirates? I thought that was just a pandemic thing.

Is Manny Oso pouring his beer right?

Oh no she didn’t!

… she did!

How dare he!

… he dared!

Have you guys been seeing all the scandalous news this week? Cheaters, haters, and pettiness galore! But not so much from who you may think of. Your Hosts had to bring it up!

The problem with these scandals, though, isn’t so much the Celebs, but how the Fans and Stans have been handling it.

Recently, Michael B. Jordan was involved in a minor moment. We all saw how he called out an old classmate out on the red carpet. Also, we all have our own opinion on it. What not many have seen is the backlash on the interviewer, Lore’l.

Then there’s the Vanderpump Rules ordeal. Tom Sandoval has been caught cheating on Ariana Madix. Don’t worry, Nicky goes into a full explanation for us! This one was interesting, because people who aren’t even on the show are being affected.

Of course, they have to draw a line in the sand and choose a side for this Selena Gomez vs Hailey Bieber “thing”. Can you believe it all started because of an Eyebrow comment? Manny can’t. Can you believe the scandal cost Bieber 50k Followers overnight, while garnering 4 Million for Gomez… at the same damn time!

Strap in for this one, Duckies. It’s another rant!

But anyways, you tell us!

How differently would you have handled Jordan’s Red Carpet moment?

Is protesting a Celebrity Offender’s restaurant a good idea?

OMG, Hailey Bieber really has been biting Selena Gomez’s style, hasn’t she?!

Read the timeline on this Gomez/Bieber scandal, and judge for yourself:

Lights! Camera! Action! … time for a roll call, Gang! Who listening can call themselves a Cinephile? A Film Enthusiast? A Movie Lover?

Today, your hosts brought you a special guest. Antonio Polanco has been a self a described Cinephile for years! His love for films goes beyond blockbusters and cult hits. Follow his pages and you’ll see recommendations for new and old movies that may have never hit your radar. Probably one of the reasons in 2019 & 2020 that he decided to start work on publishing The Cinephile Catalogue. In this film journal, you’ll find a massive list of movies. From cultural hits to thought provoking documentaries, to arguable awards winners to massive industry losers. Antonio made this for all of us to file, list, categorize, and rank all the films we know & love and don’t know & hate. Films that you may need to search for. And films that you may want to go back and re-watch.

This one went over time, but you can’t blame them! Manny Oso, a film researcher himself, makes sure to grill him on his entries. There’s a list of Worst Movies he has questions about. And Nicky Trendz makes sure to ask what we’re all wondering, “What’s Your Top 5?” Is anyone ever ready for that question?

But it’s not just movies. They also go over the theatre industry. They ask him what he thinks of AMC’s Ticket Tier prices and what’s the perfect screen to enjoy a film on. Damn! They never asked him how he likes his popcorn!

But anyways, you tell us?

- what’s your Top 5 films?

- What’s your perfect Theater Experience?

- Settle the argument: What is the worst Medea movie? Cuz they’re all funny!

Hey Gang! There was a recent piece in New York Magazine Manny Oso read. In it, the writers penned out a new set of 140 Rules For Behavior in society. This was a real interesting read.

We all know there are certain ways we must conduct ourselves. Stuff like holding a door open for a old person. Or maybe, the toilet seat conversation. However this article wrote these down for us.

Some of them are forgettable. Duh, stay off your phone while at dinner. But some are,… well, we’re just glad someone finally said it. Don’t talk to your animal in THAT voice in public, right?!

Special treat for ya’ll, too. Your hosts needed another perspective. So they brought back Danielle! You’ll remember her from the Meyers-Briggs Test they took.

Anyways, Nicky Trendz, Manny Oso & Danielle are here to break down the rules for you. They’ll cover as many as they can. There’s some real debatable ones. Like #12, or maybe #30. Some others are 100% agreeable. Like #23 & #14! … everything from #84 to #91 is up for discussion!

I know, it looks like a long episode, this was supposed to be a 15 Minute Conversation Starter, but oh well, these things had to be said.

But anyways you tell us!

- what are some new rules you really agree with?

- How many of these new rules have you broken so far? My god it’s only February!

- Also, can we really just stop with the edible arrangements?

Read all the Rules and judge for yourself: https://www.thecut.com/article/tipping-rules-etiquette-rules.html

Alright Gang, we are now 1 month into 2023. Let’s check in. How is the future treating you? Ya know, in the times we live, they say Technology has advanced more in the past 10 years than it has in the last 100 years?

So then how is tech treating ya?

Manny Oso brings up his and everyone’s challenges with Netflix and how they’ve learned how to keep us from Password Sharing.

Early this Winter, Netflix announced a new sweeping policy against Password Sharing. How they’ll achieve this is yet to be understood, but it got Nicky Trend thinking of other Tech that has basically backfired on convenience. Weather it’s Apps, Devices or just plain ol’ bad reception, it’s all kinda become a chore, am I right?

But anyways, you tell us!

To be or not to be, a Netflix subscriber?

What’s your take on Smart Devices at home?

Should we, as Humankind, give Hover Boards another shot?

Hey guys. So crazy news came out. Manny Oso had to share it.

So, in November 2022 Republican, Former New Mexico State Legislature Candidate was arrested for allegedly paying Gunmen to shoot at the homes of 4 Local Democratic Officials. Solomon Peña lost his election in November 2022 by a landslide, claiming Election Fraud. Police say, after Democratic Officials rejected his claims, Peña conspired to attack their houses. The story is still developing with more dirt burying the guy as time goes.

Well guys, this had us thinking, have you ever had to take an L? I mean really HAD to take it! Sometimes, we don’t know when to Quit While You’re Ahead. Or you know, take the Loss before things get worse.

Manny Oso shares a story from his college days, when he quit a job before having another on the line. And spent the next 6 months trying to “figure it out” instead of asking for help. Mistakes were made. You be the judge.

Then Nicky Trendz gives us a story about a time she was denied entry to a club and, well, she didn’t quite no how to take it at the time. This one took some prying, not her proudest moment!

But anyways, you tell us!

What’s the worst L you ever refused to take?

Have you ever been refused entry to a club?

If Peña gets out, you think he’ll be Santo’s running mate?

Nepo Babies! It’s what we’re wondering about. Towards the end of 2022 Twitter went buzzing about the term. A Nepo Baby, or the child of a famous actor. Many wondering about the roles they seem to be landing with ease.

Some aren’t even actors. Models, like Bella Hadid are even using their family connections to to gain acting roles. Is it wrong? Who knows. One expert said “In an industry built on reboots, a famous last name can be valuable intellectual property.” Sounds ‘bout right.

America loves legacies and a passing of the torch. A child following in the parents foot steps… Didn’t we fight a war about that once? Anyways, Nicky Trendz and Manny Oso are here to give you the skinny on what they think.

But anyways, you tell us!

Should Hollywood make their own kids work harder for roles?

What do you think of Models transitioning into actors?

Would you rather see a movie string Tom and Chet Hanks, instead? (Nicky would! Lol)

Hey Duckies! How many of you, like us, thought you’d be starting the year off right, by watching some of your favorite past TV shows and current new ones? Maybe catch some fully filmed movies you’ve been anticipating this year, only to see that inevitable list of cancelations.

Well, it happened again! In December 2023, after acquiring HBOMax, Warner Brother Discovery released a list of project they have chosen to cancel. The choices have really set people off. Many Latin and LGBTQ+ based shows were canceled, again. But others were real head scratchers. Westworld was not only canceled, but removed from the platform with no word on the future availability. Other projects, like the much anticipated Batgirl, were completely shelved after completing production.

This one really hit Manny Oso. With the fate of the critically acclaimed Westworld, ow with it being thrown into the Void, people like him may never get to watch the series. And Nicky Trendz tries to makes sense of it, too. Some articles she brings up tell us that the problem may lie in that wait-and-see attitude. When shows stay on platforms but are never watched, thats money burning away to these Streaming Services.

But anyways, you tell us!

Did you get a chance to watch Westworld before it was removed?

What show are you worried will get the axe in 2023?

Who will pickup FBOY Island to finish they’re stories?

Did one of you shows make the cut?

Happy New Year! Who doesn’t love this time of year? It’s filled with fun, games, traveling, and of course, canceled flights!

If you stayed home over the holidays, you missed quite the show! All over the nation, travelers were preparing for this huge winter storm blanketing half the country with freezing temperatures. Cities all over were hit hard with extreme temperatures. Florida experienced 30° lows for the first time in decades! Residents of Buffalo, NY became trapped in snow. And the Texas power grid, well, it did it’s thing.

With all this, you would think the airlines would be ready. Nope! Fortunately some, like Delta, were back up and running within the day. Unfortunately, for travelers with Soutwest Airlines, one of the largest airlines around and the biggest culprit of the week, the company CEO decided to cancel over 15,000 flights within 5 Days!

Nicky Trendz tried making sense of it. In a short rant, she’ll tell you how this problem has been 20 years in the making. With 3 vastly different CEO appointed in the last 2 decades and an ancient operating system, it was bound to fail!

There’s no way we can leave ya’ll without some helpful traveling tips, so make sure to listen at the end!

But anyways, you tell us!

Do you know any flight crew affected by these massive flight cancellations?

Will the Dept of Transportation actually Fine SouthWest Airlines ?

How long until those piles of unclaimed luggage are free to grab, like Lost & Found stuff? (Asking for a friend)
