Bubble Bath Stories

So something magical happened you guys.

Nicky Trendz got invited to an Emmy Award Show!

After hopping a flight and cleaning up for the red carpet, she came right back on the show to tell you all about it!

But it wasn’t easy getting her there. When first invited, she tried to find ways to get out of it. “It’s dumb, I shouldn’t be going, why am I going?” she would ask. Thankfully, she was talked to her senses and made the MOST out of it!

So after giving you the tea from the Award Show, Nicky & Manny dive into Imposter Syndrome and the concept of “Do I Deserve These Gifts?”

But you tell us!

Did any of your Fave’s win big at The Emmy’s?

How fast can you put together a Red Carpet worthy outfit?

Have you ever felt like an Imposter and you’ll be found out out?

Hi Friends! Wow we’re here!

5 years in.

100-something episodes.

Many, manny cringe worthy moments.

And guess what, your favorite duo are here to bring some of the best one’s.

[oh my god are they doing a Clip Show?] … that’s right! It’s a Clip Show!

We start off with Manny Oso eating his own foot, by reminding us all how he supported the wrong team during the Alec Baldwin Shooting Controversy. [Rusty Details S4E9]

https://anchor.fm/bubble-bath-stories/episodes/Rusty-Details-e19jutv

After that, Nicky Trendz makes a real meal of her foot, when she reminds us about how we were so quick to side with Dave Chappelle during the release of his stand-up special The Closer. It was supposed to be his last Netflix spect, it wasn’t. He was supposed to stop talking about LGBTQ+, he didn’t. [Opinion is Not Fact S4E7]

https://anchor.fm/bubble-bath-stories/episodes/Opinion-is-not-Fact-e18lka8

And you guys remember the disaster that happened at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Fest, right? I mean who wouldn’t. Manny Oso & Nicky Trendz really jumped the gun on this one. Please don’t Cancel us. [The Blame Game S4E11]

https://anchor.fm/bubble-bath-stories/episodes/The-Blame-Game-e1ab4f3

Finally, a short reminder of how, for small window of time, the whole world was on the right side for once. When we all tried to save the Sea Turtles! That’s right, the “plastic straw” thing… for some reason, Manny Oso thought it’d be a good idea to bring up Porn Hub. Sorry bout that you guys. [Updated & Porn With A Cause S2E6]

There’s just too much to bring you guys.

And there’s more to come.

More cringe and more conversation!

But you tell us!

What was our worst episode?

What was our best episode?

What topics do you think we should tackle this season?

Do we need theme song?

So it’s been a week and your two host have a confession to make. They watched The Ultimatum on Netflix, they whole thing. It was bad, you guys.

Recently released, this new show hosted by Nick & Vanessa Lachey takes 6 couples, splits them up, re-couples them to each other and sees if they can last.

Manny Oso thinks this has to be considered one of the most toxic shows out. Entertaining? Yes very much so. There’s rivalries, drama, drinking and lots of WTF moments that will have you reaching for something to hit yourself over the head with.

Nicky Trendz can’t seem to get over the constant confessionals. It seemed like these people were talking about their feelings non-stop, but saying the same thing over and over again.

There is so much to go over, this Episode went a little long. But trust us Duckies, there was a lot to vent about!

But you tell us!

Who was you favorite Character on the show?

How well would you and your significant other do in the test?

Isn’t April just better off on her own?

So there is a major trend going on in Hollywood. All over the streaming world audience are being treated to more nostalgia-porn in the form of Dark-Gritty Reboots.

You know what we’re talking about? When they take a wholesome, beloved sitcom from the days of yore, like Full House, and turn it into an edgy version for new audiences, then call it something like The Tanner Family Tragedies… or something similar.

For the Rubber Ducky Gang, it started with shows like Netflix’s The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which follows and edgy telling of the old Archie comics. Then, Peacock released Bel-Air, a re-imagined story of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. So all this got the your Hosts thinking, “what’s the next Sitcom to get the dark-gritty treatment?”

Manny Oso & Nicky Trendz have a few ideas to pitch your way for the next streaming hit, just remember though, you heard the idea here first!

But you tell us!

What’s your take on the dark-gritty reboots?

What gritty-version that’s out doesn’t work?

Remember years ago when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were the hottest thing around? We all thought they were gonna last forever! Nobody saw it coming when Pete Davidson and Kim got together. Then the slew of insults flinging left and right (mostly left) really made for a mess of events … It has been an interesting domestic scandal, so far. Mother vs Father, Comedian vs Musician, BF vs Ex.

The most recent part of the scandal that got Nicky Trendz talking came when Meta Platforms decided to restrict Kanye’s account for 24 hours on Thursday March 17th. This came to a surprise to all, after witnessing the back-to-back shots he was able to take before this.

The reason behind that decision got Manny Oso talking. Following a segment aimed at the scandal on The Daily Show, Trevor Noah chimed in to this, too. Taking it as a personal attack, Kanye then shot back at Noah with an IG post that crossed that line for them.

Oh geeze you guys, “think about the children!”

But you tell us!

Who’s team you on?

Team Kanye or Team Skeet

Do you think Skeet could be the next Mr. Kim Kardashian?

Let us know!
