    Sometimes, Duckies, your hosts want to save you from the drama. So, to not waste your time, Nicky Trendz and Manny Oso sat down to watch Peacock’s new documentary series Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies.
    When first announced, this show got trashed with hate online. Most people just wanted to know why NBC would even give her any type of platform. After that, more people wanted to know if she would actually admit to the allegations.
    Manny Oso was just as frustrated as you may think, watching this! And he only saw the first episode. Aside from half the episode wasted on going over a case everyone knows about, he complains that the testimonials about Casey Anthony and her honesty make no sense. Major eye roll moments!
    If you’re curious about how this even go aired, Nicky Trendz touches on that. Listen, to settle your mind about who is actually getting paid to do this show. It’s not who you’re worried about.

    So this week an Army came out and the internet was not ready!
    Hey Duckies, you remember the first concert you went to? Well, since our day ticket purchasing for events has gotten harder and harder.
    If you haven’t heard, there is a major drama going on between Ticketmaster, Swift and her Swift Army. When the presale for the tickets started, they only expected a couple million fans. What they got was a couple BILLION. Now everyone is scrambling to see Who the Problem is!
    Your hosts take a crack this problem. Manny Oso has a had a disdain for LiveNation/Ticketmaster and the Monopoly they’ve created and thrive on. And when you breakdown the math, Manny doesn’t know how they could have stopped this.
    Nicky Trendz, being on the same boat, has her own gripes. She’s amazed at how strong this Swift Army is, but worries how Ticketmaster will handle the next big tours and stars that are on their way. What’s gonna happen when Bieber or Beyoncé go on tour? Are they ready for those armies?! Who knows!

  • We Are Not The Same
    When news broke out over the summer that there would be a film coming out including a portrayal of Cuban dictator, Fidel Castro, Manny Oso questioned the need. When that news included the role of Castro would be played by James Franco, questioned his excitement.
    In 2018 and beyond Franco was accused of sexual misconduct. It was crazy news at the time, because it was at the midst of his Golden Globe win. Anyways, fast forward to 2022 and this new film will be his first production since.
    While Manny Oso is on the fence about watching this movie, Nicky Trendz is convinced this needs a re-do, now. If proper representation in films is your conversation, this one is you! She’s at her whits with the White Washing in Hollywood. But what’s worse, is the lazy attempt to fill a Box, after finding out Bad Bunny will star as an MCU superhero, but he will be playing a Mexican character!

    We all know making friends is hard, and if it’s not you’re the lucky one! In a VOX article, Eva Harder writes about The Decade Friends Disappear. Manny Oso tells you about how he’s feeling that. After reaching his 30th, he definitely started to notice how much harder it is to keep close relationships in proximity.
    But Nicky disagrees, saying that with all the new technology at our hands, it shouldn’t be hard to contact people at all!

    🚨🚨Spoiler Alert!!! 🚨🚨
    Manny Oso decided, it’s been enough time. And anyone who is going to watch it, has already watched it. So, they’re reviewing Netflix’s new series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. Spoilers, folks!
    But really, is anything a spoiler when it comes to this guy? If you don’t know by now about the murders, or about the modus operandi (eww!) and about the strange behavior growing up, well at this point that’s on you. Google the guy. There’s over 100 Documentaries and Films on Dahmer, and this probably won’t be the last!
    Nicky Trendz loves the that we see more light on the information on the victims, which is hardly spotlighted. However, she agrees with the dirt thrown on Ryan Murphy, the show’s creator, not getting permission from the Victims’ Families beforehand. We don’t think they even got a check, smh.
