Hello Earsome,
I wanted to do this series "whispering metal" for a long time now, because metalcore plays such an important role in my life. It helps me to calm down, like asmr does.
I know, that many people will probably think, "Why does she combine something, that is so different?" or "That’s something, that shouldn’t be getting mixed up together", but I would say, that this series represents my personality very well. Be open-minded. The ASMR Community as well as the Metalcore Community normally is. And as long as the bands don’t have a problem with it...
I wasn’t sure which song to start with, but with "One Day The Only Butterflies Left Will Be In Your Chest As You March Towards Your Death" by "Bring Me The Horizon", I found the perfect one, even through the song is more on the calmer side.
I‘m normally not an emotional person and I will admit, that it took me some time to understand the meaning behind the lyrics, but after I did I cried. Every time I hear the song I’m fighting to hold my tears at bay. But I can’t stopp listening, I don’t want do, I don’t mind, because this topic is so important and there is so much feeling in the voices of Amy and Oliver.

"The song is basically about the relationship between mother nature and humanity.
Amy Lee sings from the perspective of mother nature or the environment, whereas Oliver in this case represents humanity.
The song begins with Amy Lee, as Mother Nature, complaining about how humanity keeps messing with the environment, while ignoring the fact, that they need her to survive. She continues to emphasize on the destruction caused by humans.
Oliver, who represents humanity in the second verse, seems to realize the harm they have done and questions, why they had been stressing and hurting mother earth at their own peril.
The song ends with both singers addressing the difficulties, that both humans and nature will have to face as a result of the destruction carried out on the environment. Since their survival is interdependent, both cannot breathe or exist without each other."
