Bunnahabhain is a single malt scotch from the island of Islay. Even though Islay is traditionally known for it's high peat content, Bunnahabhain created a 12 year product that is unpeated. Does this change what it means to be an Islay whisky? Should they add a little peat so it differentiates itself form Speyside? Check out the video to hear the full review!

High West is always ranked as one of the most recognizable bottles on the shelf. Their unique tall shape and unique cork make you glance twice. Seeing Chardonnay on the bottle might make you glance a third time. This white grape wine imparts a very distinct flavor that's almost impossible to miss. Check out the video to hear the full review!

Oban took a risk, they aged their whisky in a barrel that once housed a Spanish Fortified Wine called Montilla Fino. This white fortified wine added some interesting characteristics that were similar to Oban's normal 14 yr, but turned the volume up to 100%. Do you like when secondary maturation adds to the whisky, or exemplifies already present notes? Yellow Spot is the older, more astute uncle of Green Spot. I imagine his house lined with mahogany paneling and leather bound books. A completely different experience tasting a more mature Irish Whiskey, to the point where you get confused during the first sniff. It's a great experience,  Check out the video to hear the full review!

Caol Ila is one of those distilleries located in Scotland that has a very small but very diehard fan base. Caol Ila is known for being the 'peaty' element in Johnny Walker, but it's so much more than that. The flavors that they have created in this distillery stand out against other Islay Whisky, and can be worthy for multiple sips. Have you had this before? Check out the video to hear the full review!

Lagavulin is a peaty, yet gentle scotch. It's the more mature one when compared to it's neighbors (Laphroaig & Ardbeg). Nick Offerman worked with Lagavulin to age their whiskey in a Caribbean Rum Cask, and it just didn't work in our opinion. Have you had this before? Check out the video to find out!
