This organization would be responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of emergency plans and procedures, working closely with the city government to establish policies and procedures that promote resilience and ensure continuity of operations during a disaster. The cost of hiring an emergency manager may seem high, but it is a small price to pay for the protection and safety of the city and its residents.
