Bug City Blues

Welcome back to Bug City Blues - where we follow a group of street-level runners as they get in way over their heads out in the streets of Chicago.

This week: The team return to their new home on Goose Island with a unique trophy for their common area: a prized air hockey table recovered from the derelict ruins out near Ghoultown. As the crew settles into a well-deserved period of downtime to lick their wounds and spend their hard-earned Karma, a new job offer arrives in the form of a call from an old friend. It seems that things are not as they seem out in the streets of Chicago - and a mystery surrounds the latest crimewave to hit the city. Will our team be able to get the scoop, or will they find themselves as the next headline? Tune in to find out now!

Welcome back to Bug City Blues - where we follow a group of street-level runners as they get in way over their heads out in the streets of Chicago.

This week: The gang spent last session chasing the shadow of one Weaver the Ghoul - a pillar of the community whose mysteriously vanished without a trace. The lead has led us to a rusted out gas station hidden deep within the containment zone. The pumps are crawling with muscle and primed for trouble. Now our team gears up to ghost the perimeter, hoping subterfuge will serve them well. But in this line of work, hope is little more than just another liability. Because if Weaver is in there, then somebody doesn’t want them coming out. Will our heroes manage to save the day, or will this be the run that ruins their lives? Tune in to find out now!

This week: After surviving their last escapade, the team slows down - but only slightly. With some well-earned nuyen burning holes in their pockets, they invest in upgrades, reach out to old contacts, and put pieces in place for the road ahead. But in Chicago, downtime is just another word for danger - and as shadows lengthen and alleyways whisper, threats stir beneath the surface. Who is watching while the runners catch their breath, and what will they do when the claws come out? Tune in and find out now!

This week: It’s time to kick back and enjoy a cold one! As a part of a job well done, the team has earned themselves a night of drinks and a distillery tour in the Cee-Zee’s own Haven Brewery and Beer-Garden. Along pints and pitchers the crew also learns of an increase in car jackings leading to some in the community looking for nuyen to throw towards a solution. Fortunately for them - community service is what the gang does best! Lester Moore earns some good karma. Lockdown gets his tools out. Mo makes a phone call. Panchetta waits her turn. River Bear inspects the specters.

This week: The gang takes on The Hierophant Nightclub. Not for nuyen, not for drugs, and certainly not for the show. Well, maybe some of us are here for the show. The crew is here instead to reach one Catherine O’Leary, who rumor has it has been sticking their hand too deeply into the company cookie jar and Mr. Johnson has taken notice. Now, it is up to our players to find a way to right this wrong. Their solution will be creative. Their safety will not be guaranteed. And, if all goes according to plan, they should find themselves in over their heads before too long. And how much drugs is the right amount of drugs to OD a Troll? River Bear gets a new shirt. Lester Moore has an active imagination. Mo meets the staff. Lockdown has done enough. Panchetta probes for weaknesses.

This week: It’s showtime! Our players get ready to see Infernus Erectus live on stage at The Hierophant Nightclub. But the real show for our gang of Shadowrunners lies somewhere deep within the bowels of the club - where a high-stakes gambling game is all that stands in the way between the runners and a nice payday. Now it is time for the the runs first challenge: getting in to the venue without raising the alarm. River Bear gets a new shirt. Lester Moore has an active imagination. Mo meets the staff. Lockdown has done enough. Panchetta probes for weaknesses.
