She is passionate about her community and gives back by teaching Financial Literacy to women in transition, and volunteers with Hospice of the Valley.  Ramona lives by the motto: “It takes a village” and realizes the importance of professional and personal networking relationships. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her Blue Heeler pup and traveling abroad.

    Arelis Correa serves as VP, Director, Global Acquisition for Brown-Forman Corporation. With a specialization and passion for recruiting talented people to join Brown-Forman, Arelis has served in talent acquisition roles with increasing responsibility during her 18 years at the company. This includes stints supporting Brown-Forman's former North America Region, as well as its International divisions. Arelis assumed leadership responsibility for Global Talent Acquisition in 2018 and was named to the HR & Communications Leadership Team in 2020.

    A true advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, Arelis has served in several leadership roles for COPA, Brown-Forman's employee resource group for Hispanic/LatinX employees and their allies. In addition, she works diligently and relentlessly to ensure Brown-Forman's talent acquisition processes are aligned and supportive of the company's Many Spirits, One Brown-Forman diversity and inclusion strategy.

    Joyce Rojas has positively impacted thousands of people's lives by shifting their relationship with money. She's the national and international bestselling author of 31 Badass Money Mindset Affirmations, has been a top financial advisor at Fortune 500 companies, holds a Master's in Business Administration, and recently opened her own investment firm. But what she's most proud of, is the journey to these accomplishments.

    As a daughter of immigrant parents, she never learned about investing and as a single mom, she struggled financially and wondered how she'd do this on her own. But it was in this process where she realized that wealth begins with mindset, and she successfully re-designed her life. She now combines her financial expertise with personal growth strategies to effectively teach others how to make, grow, and manage money without working so damn hard for it.

    Uziel is a first-generation college graduate. He was born and raised in San Fernando, California, where his parents migrated after leaving their native country, Mexico. Uziel's dad is a construction worker, and his mom is a homemaker. Growing up in a low-income household, Uziel explored careers where he could serve as a resource to empower his family and community.

    Uziel graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a bachelor's degree in Financial Planning. He's currently completing a Financial Planning Residency at a fee-only RIA firm. Uziel is passionate about helping people navigate their financial journeys to help them reach their goals. Uziel also volunteers in the BLX internship program to promote diversity and inclusion. The BLX internship program helps place aspiring Black and Latinx financial planners with meaningful internships in fee-only RIA firms.

She currently serves on the Hispanic Advisory Council for Coca-Cola and has served on boards, advisory councils, and executive committees for Mile High United Way, Building Better Colorado, Museum of Nature and Science, Denver7 Colorado, Prosper Colorado. Joelle is a member of the NeuroLeadership Institute and is a certified practitioner of both Insights Discovery® and i4®.
