From participating as an FPA NexGen ambassador/host, and being a CFP Board Ambassador, Luis uses his platform to help spread financial literacy via media outreach as well as encourage younger and diverse planners to join and thrive in the profession.
He is the host of the "On My Way to Wealth" podcast, co-founder of the BlatinX (BLX) Internship Program and LatinXcellence – an initiative that seeks to bring awareness to and help close the wealth gap in the LatinX community. Luis was named one of InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 in 2019 and Financial Advisor Magazine's 10 Young Advisors to Watch, as well as Investopedia Top 100 Financial Advisors in 2020.

George Kinder revolutionized financial advice for over 30 years by training over 3,000 professionals in 30 countries in the field of financial Life Planning. He founded the Kinder Institute of Life Planning in 2003 after 30 years as a practicing financial planner and tax advisor. His books and trainings are all about Freedom. In his new book, A Golden Civilization and The Map of Mindfulness (currently available on Amazon), Kinder draws on 50 years as a mindfulness practitioner, over 30 years as a mindfulness teacher, and his experience training financial advisors globally to challenge the basic concepts of economics, our understanding of democracy, of space-time, and our own hearts. His objective is to bring greater levels of Freedom everywhere.
Kinder has received many prestigious awards, from being the first winner of the Financial Planning Association's Heart of Financial Planning Award to "One of the 35 most influential people in financial services," and "One of the top Icons & Innovators in the financial planning industry". He's a dynamic presenter, speaker, and is an artist at heart, from poetry, photography, and even singing. Some of you may know him as the father of the life planning movement!

In this episode, Luis speaks with Ivan Aragon. A native of Chihuahua, Mexico, Ivan moved to Phoenix, Arizona as a child. He played football at Phoenix Community College where he was selected as Male Student-Athlete of the year his second year. He later transferred to Arizona State University to continue his studies. Following his undergraduate studies he excelled in the mortgage, insurance, and food supply chain industries. A proud DACA recipient, he was admitted to the University of Michigan's MBA program in 2017. While at Michigan Ross, he was elected to be his Section's (cohort) President, and to the Michigan Ross MBA council (Student Government) as VP of Finance, among other club leadership roles.
He has an Associate's in Business from Phoenix Community College, a B.S. in Finance from Arizona State University, and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the University of Michigan's Latino Alumni Association and as President of the Ross School of Business Alumni's Phoenix Chapter.
Ivan is currently a Residential Mortgage Broker based out of Phoenix, AZ. He is licensed in multiple states. He loves helping people attain homeownership and invest in residential real estate. He hosts the Home Loan MBA Podcast where he discusses the home loan process and interviews real estate professionals. In his free time, you can find him cooking a meal for his extended family, playing indoor volleyball, or on the Salsa and Bachata dance floors in Phoenix.
