Utz Threads has beautiful textiles and handwoven products created by Mayan ancestral techniques of the basic use of thread done by indigenous women in the highlands of Guatemala.  Utz Threads works directly with these women to offer high-customer quality and also offer their good-paying opportunities. 

This week we talk with Mari Brisco CEO and Founder of Passport Polish, a vegan and ethically made beauty brand based out of New Orleans, New York.

We discuss how Mari went from Psychiatrist to building her Beauty brand. How she builds as an entrepreneur with ADD and stays focused.

We also discuss how her upbringing and culture is engrained as she grows her business and keeps building with and for our communities as she embarks on her next part of her business launching a private label arm to bring more black & brown entrepreneurs in the beauty industry.
