BuildBetter - interviews with tech founders

The first project I'm talking about today is Tribe X:

The story starts with humans on the verge of extinction. To survive and finally earn our fair share, The 12 Tribes must unite and give life to Tribe X. Tribe X will be starting with 11,111 female avatars with cool-looking art. The team says: "we've decided to start with women because women are the reason for our existence. Without women, there would be no civilization". I like that. Just a caveat Tribe X is not female-led team but there are females on the team.

A portion of the net mint proceeds will be donated to charity, part will be reinvested into the Tribe X Ecosystem to form The Tribe X DAO, stand up  $TRIBEXFIRE utility token and Tribe X Agency. These shall be the pillars of the Tribe X ecosystem for NFT holders. Of course, 3D Avatars and merch are planned too. If you are interested, I'd recommend reading their nicely done Whitepaper - which is more of ideation paper, don't look for too much detail.

Mint date and mint price are both TBD.

Check them out here because visuals are looking very cool:

The second project I talk about today is Floppy NFT:

Floppy NFT caught my eye on Twitter with its cheeky and fun-looking avatars. I dug into it a bit and apart from cheeky website with floppy running through a roadmap I've found semi-doxxed team i.e. two artists have some real socials and even a webpage and the rest of the team looks like avatars that are just starting.

The roadmap is simple and unimaginative - holders will have a chance to participate in exclusive events such as NFT claims, raffles, community giveaways, character and story development, game and series production. Of course, some metaverse world building, and more...will (maybe) come.

It’s an example of a project you should stay away from until it proves itself. But this is just my opinion. If you like floppy visuals and you don't expect to make money from it, then nothing can stop you.

Mint date is set for Feb 19th and 20th and price shall be 0.07 ETH.

Check them out here:

That's all for today. Cheers till tomorrow.

The first project I talk about today is Martian Premier League (MPL):

The lore for MPL goes along the lines of professor Gaffer setting up a new football league on Mars. He’s building a transporter capable of beaming 9000 humans up to Mars. His mission? To build a new football league that would embody the values of the game he used to know and love. You might have guessed that they are building a game.

The upcoming genesis PFP mint art is created by Rupert Gruber (Marvel, Sony, Universal) and will act not only as your character but also as your mint pass to the whole Mars Universe. Holders' first reward will ability to create a genesis player who can operate in the Martian Premier League (separate NFT on L2). This additional NFT will act as the gateway for participation in the Martian Premier League and all the mechanics outlined in their whitepaper. The team has worked for two of the largest franchises on the planet: Harry Potter and Marvel and they are ZenAcademy members, so I have high expectations from this one.

Mint should be on March 2nd so there's time. Definitely check them out:

• Twitter: https://twitter.com/professorgaffer

The second project of today is just minting and is called Women Tribe:

Women Tribe Is female led project which has put enormous efforts into building a community of like-minded and supportive people in the past several months. I've been watching it since their early days and it is remarkable. Project founder Izzy has a very distinctive art style which I like.

The ultimate goal is to help women and all people embrace their inner divinity and power. Some of our long-term highlights to accomplish over the next years include Scholarship & Charity, Epic Events, Community Wallet, Merch...

10.000 Woman Tribe members are programmatically generated from over 900 hand-drawn traits, minting started on Feb 15th and the price is 0.04 ETH.

The first project I'm mentioning today is Invisible Friends:

Invisible Friends is a project you've definitely heard about if you've been around NFTs twitter for at least a week. It's everywhere. Just their twitter account has over 460k followers. It's another project of Swedish dude Markus Magnusson and Random Character Collective. Whatever these guys did before was always a big hit, so I have no doubt Invisible Friends will rock it too.

They are minting on Feb 23rd and the price will be 0.25 ETH.

• The website won't tell you much but find it here: https://invisiblefriends.io
• All info is on Twitter: https://twitter.com/InvsbleFriends

The second project I'm gonna talk about is Sad Bots:

Sad Bots is an NFT project coming from the future where after humankind's extinction there are Sad Bot servants remaining on the planet with no one to serve. 8.888 fully 3D avatars ready for Metaverse. Full 3D files will be made available to holders. Other things from the roadmap include the secret trait-specific utilities revealed after the sellout. Sad Bot Donation to a mental health charity, merch, and IP brand building towards Sad Bots becoming a household name in the NFT and web3 space.

The mint is planned for Feb 17th and the price will be 0.15 ETH for Whitelist members and the rest will be sold via Dutch auction starting at 0.5 ETH to 0.2 ETH.

Today is a little different, I'm not talking about large collections but about two small collections made by individual artists. Mainly because it sometimes feels like individual artists are harder to spot among avalanche of hyped PFP collections.

It's a collection of 1/1 digital editions from Eric Karbeling aka SquigglePapi.eth. Eric is the large murals Honolulu based artist. After an office job he found his style and passion in transforming environments via murrals. His art is colorful and dreamy almost hypnotic imagery.
Eric has not only cool NFTs but also very nice merch shop from his Out of Office Tour. Loving it and seriously considering ordering few pieces.

Check out his web: https://www.erickarbeling.com
And OS collection here: https://opensea.io/collection/squigglepapi

It si the collaboration collection between Monika and Peter and that's why today you'll hear about three artists today. They are known for a small abstract and colourful collection called "Petronika". This time, with Love is Eternal, they've done a litte bit more melancholic visuals but e.g. I like them more than Petronika. Love is Eternal is a collection of just 20 items minted on Polygon which is great - you'll pay almost no fees.

Check the collection on OS here: https://opensea.io/coll ection/love-is-eternal

Shortly about each artist:

@PeterArt18

is Ukrainian artist which has number of collections and collaborations as you can see from his Linktree. He’s enjoying abstract art and a lot of colors. I bumped into him and Monika through their Love is Eternal collection which caught my eye.

Peter's Linktree: https://linktr.ee/PeterArt18

@MonikaNFT

is an abstract artist using a lot of wonderful colors in all of her collections. She's very productive so check out her Linktree. if you’re curious.

The first project I talk about today is from NounPunks crew and it's 3D Collection called superBLOX:

The plan is simple; to create/transform 9969 2D NounPunks heads into 9969 3D metaverse ready bodies. The first cool thing is that it will be again cc0 project = fully open-source for your use, modification, adjustments. You will not only receive full-body 3D model it will be possible after mint to download hi-res PFP-ready cropped images of your 3D model from different angles, so you can flex them on social media.

Also important that superBLOX avatars will be rigged for use and playability in all the most popular Metaverse games and platforms including Decentraland and Sandbox!

Mint is coming on Feb 16th and all NounPunks holders will have what a Platinum Tier VIP Mint pass. There are two more minting Tiers, with sligtly higher pricing -> Gold (0.069 ETH) and Silver = public (0.089 ETH). All these prices are very affordable given the quality and universality of the superBLOX you will receive.

• You can read all about it here: https://medium.com/@nounpunks.eth/nounpunks-explode-into-the-metaverse-with-our-new-3d-collection-superblox-d194d0d64085
• Check everything NounPunks here: https://linktr.ee/NounPunks

The second project I talk about today is FuDaoVerse:

This is completely different style of art than pixels from NounPunks. It's women led project with Asian roots. They're bringing oriental fusion artwork in 8.888 Divine Celestials to blockchain and want to highlight the inner warrior & fun personality in all of us. In collaboration with Chinese Artist, Li Shuang every Celestial will have its own unique combination of over 800 characteristics, personality and features. Which sounds nice.

It's one of these projects which you have to see to either really like it or not. There's a community DAO, merchandise and cartoon series on the roadmap. They'll be minting on Feb 14th for 0.088 ETH. You can still buy something called VIP OG Pass on OpenSea and it gives you free mint (1x) from each 4 collections they plan, which means that if you like the projec

The first project I talk about today is Year Of The Woman by Yasmin Shima:

Yasmin is self taught digital artist from Bondi Beach Australia with very elegant style focused on beauty and very interesting life story. With her project she's creating a story presenting traits of the Woman, their zodiac animal and various fashion pieces as one. Each Woman NFT is uniquely generated from over 250 traits.

Project mint date is set for March 8th - yes, it's International Women's Day. Price will be 0.08 ETH. Roadmap includes donations, Art Gallery in Decentraland, physical prints, collaborations and more...

The art looks very female focused with kind of nostalgic coloring to me. Yasmin definitely has an interesting story which might resonate with many of you - how she struggled to become the teacher and sought after artist IRL and soon as well as in NFT space. Check the story and the project here:

The website: https://yearofthewoman.io
and LinkTree: https://linktr.ee/yearofthewoman

The second project I mention today is Remarkable Women:

This is the project with art by the illustrator Rachel Winter launched by House of First. You can look forward to Vibrant colours and wild patterns. Very different style than the above mentioned Year Of The Woman. Collection certainly is tribute to diversity sending out vibrant energy.

Quoting here: “Remarkable Women is celebration and ode to all women inspired by the perspectives of fashion, feminism, and cultural diversity. The collection showcases powerful messages of hope, inspiration, and affirmation in 10 languages, with featured phrases including “Loved, Royal, Icon, Valid, Queen”, that together make this collection truly remark-able.”

On the roadmap there are re-markable IRL events, merchandise, education, and more...

It just minted out yesterday but available on secondary for reasonable price and if you want to take your chance - there is a chance that after reveal the floor will drop because there are number of large minters in this collection and most large minters will go for rarity and sell the rest after reveal.

Check the project here:

The first project I talk about today is CTW - Crypto Tech Women NFTs:

The website: https://www.cryptotechwomennft.com

The second project I mention today is Avril15:

This is an artistic project, so no fancy roadmap, just hand-made themed art coming. I love the pop-art color schemes, so I'm in!
There are two UK guys behind the project and the main person is the artist - Tim McDonaghil - just check his work and his website, I really like his style and can't wait what he's gonna make for Avril15! Check the story behind Avril15 and why she's stuck in Metaverse:

The first project I mention today is Odd Dystrict:

This is one with very cool and different looking art. That's why I like it. It’s the story of 5000 of those called Oddys left after the cataclysmic event 10 years ago that wiped out 99.97% of the population and left the planet ravaged by radioactive matter. Speciel technology made heart pieces work and the story goes on. Cool team with members with Hollywood movies tech creation experience.

You have full commercial right to your Oddy, holders will have a chance to claim collection of artefacts, there should merch and so on. It's really just starting and their discord is alive with good floor price to enter if you like it.

The website: https://the-odd-dystrict.com/
OS Collection: https://opensea.io/collection/the-odd-dystrict-official

The second project I talk about today is Soulz NFTs:

Soulz are 7,777 chosen warriors in the year 3027 AD fighting evil regime. It's Asian project wiht manga looks. Kind of Azuki style. If you like Azuki, you'll also like this one. Its release is planned for 20th Feb. From my side, the art is dope and there are Ramen shops and Orbs and mutations through Ramed dishes planned on the roadmap.

Fully doxxed and pretty large team which makes it look serious. Check them out:
