They highlighted the need for increased awareness and exposure to the industry, as well as the role of apprenticeships in providing valuable training and career opportunities. They also addressed the challenges and misconceptions surrounding diversity in construction and the steps that need to be taken to create a more inclusive and diverse workforce.
