God has a book of life, and those whose names are written in it will be spared on the great day of judgement (Revelation 20:11–15). But those whose names are not found on God's list will be thrown into the lake of fire. So, how can we be sure our names are written in this book? Andrew Selley explains that even though God went to the cross to save us, salvation must be worked out on earth throughout our lives, as faith without works is dead (James 2:26).
