It's been a while since I have created a new podcast. I want you to know that I am still here, but been a little busy. Listen to get the scoop on what has been happening, why I have not created a new episode, and what's the plan for where we are heading.
How do you know how to do something if you don't know what it is you are working on? I want you to have a foundation. Trust is pivotal in our world. You need to know what it is if you are going to build trust. In this episode, we will go over what trust is and what it looks like. I want you to think about examples of trust. Have you ever thought about what trust really is? Develop an understanding of the reality of trust and you will better be able to build trust. Now that you have worked on knowing yourself better, it is time to learn more about what you really desire. Knowing your desires with help you understand better why you are being dishonest. It will also help you choose healthier behaviors that will be more beneficial. In this episode, you will get examples and information to help you uncover your desires, plus 2 exercises that can help you develop your understanding of your desires and what your dishonesty is really about.
Learning who you are is pivotal to being able to make choices and decisions that benefit you. As you work through the process of changing to stop dishonesty in your marriage and relationships, knowing who you are can help you understand more of your strengths, likes, dislikes, cares, fears, concerns, and beliefs. All of this can help you make better choices, instead of reacting or grasping for things. Most lies are built off of unhealthy choices. Let's know ourselves so we can own our decisions and not have to lie.
Knowing your "Why" is important in so many areas of life. You can't get where you are going if you don't have reasons or motivation to get there. You can also get off on the wrong track if you don't understand your reasons well. I encourage you in this episode to find out your "why." Ask yourself the questions that I provide and step by step discover what happened and why you are being dishonest.
