A reminder on this Father’s Day, of how we are to live and to teach the love we have received from our Father in Heaven.
The Dirty Dozen… no, not the classic movie, the original Dirty Dozen. As Jesus looked out over the crowds, his heart broke because there were so many people but so few workers (Matt 9:36-38, MSG). So he put together a rag-tag group and gave them a mission: have a heart for the lost and go to them, minister from your own experiences, but stay alert and do not be naïve to all that is around you (Matt 10:6-17, MSG).
You were treated generously, so live generously Matt 10:8, MSG. Being a disciple requires us to get our hands dirty in order to bring people into a relationship with Jesus.
Part 2 of a two-part presentation by Wes Baldwin, attorney and pastor at Donalsonville Church of Christ. Wes joined us as part of our regular Weds. night classes. He shares his expertise and background in estate planning and provides some insightful information on wills, trusts, and power of attorney. Wes provides a biblical basis for estate planning, and he uses these scriptures as a foundation for examining the intricacies of a subject we often put off tackling.
This week Jason is joined on stage with the high school seniors to share this special message to the class of 2016. As our students complete one journey and begin a new one, we want to encourage them to continue to live in Jesus, to not fall for the foolishness of the world, and to be full of Jesus (Colossians 2:6-10).
