  • Punch Torino: Deploys HPC Cluster on Oracle Cloud

To run its computational fluid dynamics simulations faster, Italian tier-1 engine manufacturer, Punch Torino moved its CFD platform to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Using OCI High-Performance Computing, Punch Torino’s engineers are now able to run CPU, Memory, and I/O-intensive simulation and testing workloads up to 24% faster with 33% fewer compute cores.

  • ComSpec Deploys ColdFusion, Java-based Edtech platform on Oracle Cloud

To access ComSpec’s student information system on OCI, university personnel are authenticated by logging into a Uniface Anywhere controller, which sits in front of three Uniface Anywhere application servers. As users are authorized, they can then access ComSpec’s ColdFusion and Java-based applications, which pull data from and send it back to an Oracle Database running on Oracle Database Cloud Service.

  • DigiFarm Deploys Oracle Functions, and HPC on OCI

DigiFarm runs its cloud-native precision agriculture platform on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), helping farmers, and other agribusinesses determine seeded field acre boundaries. With its deep neural network models running on Oracle Bare Metal GPUs, DigiFarm ingests optical satellite images from the European Space Agency (ESA), increases their resolution, and then provides a georeference map, which has so far helped some 14,000 producers in 30 countries delineate their seeded field acre boundaries with 92% accuracy.

  • Duality Runs Secure Encryption Platform on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Since moving its homomorphic encryption platform to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Israeli-based Duality set up a high-performance compute environment, using Intel IceLake and AMD EPYC CPUs, which is now helping its clients add scale to their computations, aggregate more data from more sources, and reduce their hardware, energy, and labor costs.

  • PayPal running business analytics on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Since moving its Hyperion Essbase application and analytics workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, PayPal’s financial teams are not only able to run predictive analytics, model what-if scenarios, and create advanced ad-hoc reports on demand, they are also able to load and retrieve data more than 30% faster, run calculation scripts 50% faster, and reduce 21 on-premises servers down to just 10 cloud servers.

  • Waste2Go streams IoT data using Oracle Functions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

By attaching sensors to trash bins, Waste2Go’s cloud-native platform, which runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, monitors the volume of waste at target collection points. After instructing Oracle Functions to send the encrypted data to a Docker container, Python code decrypts that data, stores it in the backend system, and presents it in a dashboard so users can determine the best time and route to collect the trash.
