Eliminating service interruptions for Mutual Materials’ core applications demanded a cloud architecture that ran those workloads on separate virtual machines (VMs), with separate block volume storage, replicated in different fault domains. Using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Block Volumes service, Mutual Materials was able to change the size of its block volumes based on seasonal business cycles, increase its security posture, with Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) service, and restrict access to its applications through public and private load balancers.
Since moving its platform to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Zimperium has not only reduced its infrastructure costs by 20%, it has also increased its application’s availability, tightened its security, and can more quickly resize its compute instances to match its current workloads.
By using a combination of virtual machines and bare metal servers, microK8 clusters, and intelligent provisioning of compute shapes on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, YellowDog can deploy as many as 198,000 compute cores in just minutes.

ElectrifAi’s pre-built machine learning workflows help companies analyze their spend patterns to spot potential for increased savings and revenue
Services/Themes: Load balancer, Container Engine for Kubernetes, Compute instances for Airflow, Docker containers for Sisense Business Intelligence (BI), File and Object Storage
To help companies make unbiased hiring decisions, and build a more diverse and inclusive workforce, MeVitae developed a blind recruitment solution that analyzes over 20 parameters in potential candidate resumes. Since migrating its analytics workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), MeVitae now runs a serverless hybrid component, processing some 5,000 resumes each day.
Pietro Lascari and the team at Advanced Laboratory for Economics and Finance (ALEF) use the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to deploy, run and deliver their software as a service (SaaS) platform to Banks, Insurance Companies, and Government Institutions. Oracle high-performance computing (HPC) gives Alef the compute resources for the most robust on-premises solutions with the elasticity and consumption-based pricing of the cloud. When Alef benchmarked its HPC workloads on competing cloud infrastructure providers, they found that their workloads run 30% faster on OCI. Alef also migrated to OCI its customers’ large Oracle databases. The use of OCI Database Cloud service (including Exadata Cloud service) brought an increase in database performance up to 70%. Moreover, migrating to OCI opened up new opportunities for Alef, particularly in processing and analytics on large data sets. Planning and operating the migration to OCI of large and complex infrastructures required only few weeks and consistently allowed them to improve service reliability, fault tolerance, and to make the disaster recovery strategy more robust. Pietro Lascari sat down with Jigar Modi to discuss their deployment.
Austin Moseley and his team at Electronic Transaction Consultants (ETC) have built a solution that executes, manages and stores billions of electronic tolling transactions every year, across millions of accounts. Their solution supports three of the largest tolling authorities anywhere. Their extreme requirements are a perfect fit for the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and its powerful, flexible and highly available capabilities. Senior manager of IT Services Austin Mosely sat down with Sudheer Pai to discuss their deployment.
Matt Goldensohn and the Gadget Software team used the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to deploy their software as a service (SaaS) platform on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, freeing their development team to focus on their core business. Gadget’s service provides an AI-driven document virtualization solution that transforms user manuals and other instructions into friendly, easy to follow, mobile first applications customers can retrieve with QR codes and view on any device. This service allows Gadget customers to reduce cost and increase satisfaction for their end users. VP Matt Goldensohn sat down with Henri Beaino to discuss their deployment.
