The Bulls beat the Celtics 121-107 and snap our 9 game win streak. The Celtics came out of the gate shooting 1-7 from the field with zero energy whatsoever and that continued throughout the game. Every time we cut the lead to 5, the Bulls seemed to push it to ten; if we cut it to 8, the Bulls would push it to 15 and it really continued that way for 48 minutes. Throughout our 17 games this season, there has never been a game where I thought the Celtics couldn't come back and I sort of gave up hope on this one in the third which I hate to say.

The Celtics motto this year, simply, is "Math" and what that translates to is "3s are worth more than 2". They have been very much "Live by the 3, Die by the 3" and that has led them to having a historically good offensive team. We have surrounded the Jays with a bunch of 3pt scoring threats but nothing seemed to work early on this one and it dug the Celtics in too big of a hole. With that being said, us shooting 3s did not lose us this game because at the end of the day we shot 38% which is actually really good as a team. Defense destroyed us in this one. This is a Bulls team that was playing horrible basketball and we allowed them to score 121pts on 52% from the field and 48% from 3. That cannot happen. I am not going to overreact after this game because it was one bad loss following up from a 9 game win streak and the Celtics still sit in first place. On to Dallas.
