The Bundesliga Diaries are back for their first episode of 2022 to discuss the latest developments in German football! This month, we take a look at the top and the bottom of the Bundesliga, where it is all to play in the relegation battle, the quest for European football, and perhaps even the title race.

We also take a look at the last round of the DFB Pokal, which threw up plenty of intriguing stories, such as Hannover’s convincing 3-0 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund’s 2-1 defeat to St. Pauli.
