After hearing the podcast, a local Musical Theater director (Michael Price, The Simpsons) wants to turn Brian and Jack’s life story into a musical. Jack wants no part of it, but Brian is willing to sing his lungs out to prove he should play himself.
This episode features Emmy and Writers Guild award-winning writer Michael Price as “Paul McCartney,” the misleadingly-named director of local theater. Mr. Price’s latest show, F is for Family, is absolutely hilarious. You should check it out on Netflix right now if you haven’t already. Also if you have Disney Plus and want to check out some of his Simpsons episodes, I highly recommend “E Pluribus Wiggum,” the one where Ralph Wiggum runs for President, and “Mad About the Toy,” which won an Emmy!
From Matt: “Mike Price is literally one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He always takes the time to help me with comedy stuff, even though he’s insanely busy! Thank you again, Mike! I had a lot of fun/stress trying to make this episode’s musical moments be listenable, so apologies if anyone’s ears explode. Personally I can’t get enough of Mike singing ‘STEEEEEALING’ over and over. But maybe that’s just me?”
