Tess is a Los Angeles based writer and nationally touring comedian who has appeared at the Comedy Central Stage, Meltdown Comics, UCB, and at clubs and colleges throughout the country. She has written for TVLand’s “Throwing Shade,” TruTV’s “Billy on the Street,” and is regularly published on a number of outlets, including Vice, The Guardian, Vox, MTV News, Jezebel, and L.A Weekly, where her work has ranged from investigative pieces about wage inequity in professional cheerleading to profiles of icons like Charo and Betsey Johnson. 

Tess’s work has been performed and taught at institutions from Emerson College to Yale University. She is one of the producers and hosts of Lady to Lady, a popular podcast on Exactly Right Media, the creator & host of Pop Mystery Pod & one of the whistleblowers of the #FreeBritney movement from her OTHER podcast Britneysgram. When she’s not writing or doing stand up, Tess enjoys dogs, running, and talking about Britney Spears.

Sam, now based in Denver, is originally from a suburb of a suburb in Minnesota. Sam started his comedy career in the Pacific Northwest with a parody late-night talk show in college that earned him 2 Northwest Emmy nominations. Kristin Lytie is a standup comedian living in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She cut her teeth in the Chicago comedy scene and was even named a “Comic to See” by the Chicago Tribune. An eternal optimist, Kristin has worked in progressive politics for the past fifteen years as a community and union organizer. She is a regular at Wisconsin comedy clubs and travels the country to perform in between union meetings. Her comedy is a product of her core beliefs of equality, DIY ethics and passion for traveling to meet new people. 

Filmed live at the Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin, TX, "Disassociation Vacation" covers topics in her life such as growing up in Wisconsin, her love of horror movies, quitting drinking and most importantly taking the knowledge she learned in Chicago on both comedy and union organizing back to her hometown of Green Bay. "This album is over a decade in the making, it’s stories from traveling, working for unions, things I love, things that frustrate me. It is unapologetically me and I’m so proud of it."

Rena Hundert's "Great Pregspectations" is available now for pre-order & everywhere this Friday 3/29/2024.

Great Pregspectations was recorded while Rena was 8 months pregnant. It is an ode to all of the highs, lows, and bumps of pregnancy. Rena admits that the pregnancy “was a surprise to me, too.” Now in her mid 30’s, Rena talks about the contradictory feelings of it being “a little too easy to get pregnant this old.” It’s laced with songs that sound grim but remain equally silly, like one about having to drink your own pee when climate change empties the world of its water supply. Great Pregspectations is sure to stir up any listener’s hormones. Rena hopes for the album to be like a “friend for pregnant people who feel isolated. I want them to feel less alone, and to know that all of their feelings are valid, even the dark ones.”
