Cory earned his doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of South Carolina in 2011. Since then, he has practiced as a retail pharmacist, outpatient clinical pharmacist, and inpatient clinical pharmacist.
He currently practices as an Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, where he applies his passion for lifestyle interventions in the management of chronic disease.
He is also an accomplished improv comedian, having started his comedy journey in 2013, where he coached, taught, and performed improv for thousands of people. He authored the book Permission to Care: Building a Healthcare Culture that Thrives in Chaos where he shares how to integrate improv principles into your clinical and leadership practices.
