There’s water in God’s plan – behind you and before you. There’s a river of life that you’re invited to drink from in the new Jerusalem, too.

You know, you can only survive a few days without water. I’m not sure you can survive spiritually any longer.

What do you think God wants from you?

We value our rights. As well we should. We defend our rights. And many men and women have sacrificed their lives in the name of those rights. I want to show you one of the most powerful things we may be called upon to do with our rights.

I think our anger might reveal some things that we need to look at. Our anger might be a “check engine light” that’s flashing on the dashboard of our hearts.

We are good at remembering holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and special moments in our lives. Have you remembered your baptism?

Life doesn’t work well when we get our values out of whack. Where does your treasure lie?

Most of life is ordinary time. Ordinary time is what gives meaning to extraordinary time.

You can live in the unity and the power of the Spirit—or you can die without it. That’s really the question Pentecost lays at your feet.

One day, the king is coming back. And he’s going to look at the world and then look at us and say, “Let’s talk about how you represented me.”

If Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, I think he has the past and the future pretty well covered. And since you can’t actually live anywhere else, why not focus this week on living with him in the present.
