The great white north has given us a shit ton of great horror movies. THE GATE may not be the best. But, it is definitely up there. And, if you had HBO in the early '90s, chances are you saw this movie more than a few times.

This episode we are chatting about the 1988, Halloween party time movie, NIGHT OF THE DEMONS. This is a movie you either like or love. Because, there is nothing to hate.

So, once all the razor blade apples have been handed out, and you take care of your sour balls, be sure to end the night with us.

How do you get everyone to be pissed off by the end of your movie? Reveal that every death was fake and all part of your rich friends business idea.

We are talking about the 1986 slasher, APRIL FOOL'S DAY. Even with the lack of on-screen kills, and gore, this movie still has some good things going for it. Namely, the cast.

So, crack open a Hamm's and tune in.

Buddy's got an axe to grind, and we have beers to drink. This week we are talking about the 1987 slab SLAUGHTERHOUSE. This one is definitely a product of it's time. Coming out when the slasher genre was all but exhausted. But, showing that is was not completely dead.

Aside from our academic level film critic, we also give you some tunes to listen to. We might go on another remake tangent after watching the new Black Christmas remake trailer. Tune in to find out.

It took us 2 years, but we finally got to Bava's A BAY OF BLOOD (Twitch of the Death Nerve, Carnage, Blood Bath). Where would the American slasher be if this movie was never made? Probably pretty close to where it now. But, a certain franchise would be a little different, I would bet.
