It's time to crack the code of business growth.
AKA Scaling. Yup, that's right - I'm lifting the veil on my "Entrepreneur Growth Hierarchy" -- your new best friend, guiding you through the wild ride of sustainable business growth. This idea was inspired by Maslow's Hierarchy, behavioural sciences, and good ol' business basics.
Just like science says we humans need our basic needs taken care of before we can reach for loftier goals, my Growth Hierarchy outlines how your business needs the same.
The golden nugget from this episode? Whatever you do, don't skip steps! You might be thinking, "Can't I take a shortcut?" No. Trust me, if you try to sprint to the finish line without checking off those crucial business fundamentals, your growth is gonna stumble and fall.
This episode is a challenge - a friendly nudge to look at growth from a whole new perspective.

This week, we're taking a deep dive into the reality of six-figure success in the online business world. We're calling out those misleading tactics and unsustainable practices some businesses use to inflate their image of success. We're focusing on the importance of putting sustainability and ethical business practices before profit, debunking the fantasy of easy big money, and stressing the need for businesses to deliver real value with solid systems ready for growth.
I'm also revealing my Entrepreneur Growth Hierarchy tool, a practical aid to help business owners evaluate their standing and ensure they're meeting the basic conditions for steady growth. Let's stop rushing through essential steps and falling for empty promises that only lead to relentless hustle.
You also get to hear about something very rarely talked about: the hidden costs and operational considerations that are often ignored when discussing earnings claims. Building a successful business takes time and requires constant refinement and adjustment before considering scaling (which, contrary to popular belief, is about increasing capacity for growth, not just making more money without doing more work.)
Tune in to this eye-opening episode to challenge the myths and uncover the truths of 6 figure success in the business world.

It's a grand old time and honestly you've gotta add the phrase "testicular fortitude" to your repertoire going forward.

This week I talk about the fear of being visible in the online business space and the struggles for business owners who think and act differently from mainstream beliefs. From gatekeeping to censorship, the struggle is REAL, and that's why being crystal clear about your beliefs and values goes a long way to helping you overcome the fear of visibility.
I also get a little vulnerable this week, and share my personal experiences with growth, cultural norms, and societal expectations. And...I share my Truth (with a capital T). The Truth that keeps me going and fuels the work I do (grab a tissue).
For all the sass and tongue-in-cheek humour I bring to the podcast, the bottom line is that through my work, I aim to inspire others to embrace their whole selves and create a legacy that leaves a lasting impact underscored by the importance of speaking your truth and embracing personal evolution.

This week, Sarah welcomes Amber Dancy to discuss how business owners can increase their capacity without defaulting to common strategies like scaling their business or adding more time to their day -- the more common advice entrepreneurs are given when they start feeling overwhelm.
They explore the importance of separating personal capacity from business capacity and how having a solid operational foundation is crucial for the success of a business.
They also talk about the very common mistake of conflating being the face of the business with being the business itself, and solutions to overcome it.

This week Sarah discusses the many challenges inherent in managing people and delegating tasks as an entrepreneur (or managing people, period), and why overwhelm shouldn't necessarily be the reason you hire in the first place.

Summer is coming. (Shout out to GoT fans everywhere!)
Summer is on its way and that means the kids will be home for the next few months. That can absolutely throw a wrench into any business-related plans you may or may not have had.
Not to mention all the rhetoric you're about to hear about the sales cycle, powering through, not losing momentum, and more.
So -- how do you get through the summer as a parent and entrepreneur without going off the rails? Do you double down and do all the things? Do you throw caution to the wind and put your feet up?
Honestly? It depends. And I have a few reminders to help you decide.

For 5 seasons we questioned the sacred status quo of…
Business Blasphemy is for accomplished women over 40 who have started questioning the things they once took for granted about success, ambition, work, and what they really want from the rest of their lives.
Hosted by Sarah Khan, the show explores what happens when the beliefs that got you here no longer fit where you're going. Expect candid conversations around ambition, identity, career, money, power, relationships, reinvention, aging, and the complicated experience of wanting more when you've already accomplished a lot.
Sometimes we challenge conventional wisdom; sometimes we question the rules we've inherited about what women should want and when. But we always start from the premise that changing your mind might be the most interesting thing you do next.
