In this episode we talk about the importance of coaching, so much in fact that we has a coaching call with Melina to help us think about where we are going as a podcast. Melina's podcast on Behavioral Economics is amazing and being able to hop on a video call with her was amazing. We look forward to working with her more and improving our own skills just like we ask our listeners to do the same. Remember that "Problems cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them." Albert Einstein. We had a strategy session with Melina Palmer from The Brainy Business Podcast.
Amazing podcast if you haven’t heard it yet
    @TheBrainyBiz on Twitter, www.thebrainybusiness.com
Very informative when you are wondering what to dive deep into, as far as your business is concerned.
She takes complex topics like Behavioral Economics and breaks it down into simple, applicable and tactical chucks that you can put into action
We realized that we did not have an actual goal for the podcast itself
We are 70 episodes in and we have never thought what will this podcast achieve
We want to be of service to others but to what end?
Coaching? Insurance? Real Estate? Income Goals?
We had been using the show as a training ground for helping our clients (the agents) and improving our presentation skills.
We now have some goals in mind as well as some financial targets via the podcast.
We need to schedule at minimum 4 live presentations with Real Estate offices before the end of the year
At least 1 per month starting 2019.
    Facebook Live BB Calls
We are going to try and do regular FB live BB Calls with Q&A
This is awesome because you get to be a part of the show
You get to have your questions answered
It will be in the evening to help give more people access to our content.
    How cool is that?
If you know of Real Estate offices looking for some presentation or in house training sessions let us know

  • Business Bros – Episode 70 – The Old Man’s Personal Integrity (Happy Birthday Mom!)
Happy Birthday Mom! In this episode we talk about PI, Personal Integrity. Our parents have lived a life of selflessness and the Old Man wrote this Personal Integrity Cree 15 years ago that embodies what they believe in and how they raised us. We break down PI and why those core values are so important as human beings as well as in business. We hope to soon begin to sell PI to help raise funds for what will become the SiasFirst Foundation that helps homeless people across the country and around the world. We hope to give my parent's the opportunity to continue their quest in helping families in every way they can. • Business Bros – Episode 69 – Seriously, It’s That Easy
In this episode we break thing down so simply and then show you how you make things more complicated. Why are you complicating things? Your ego loves it when things are complicated, that way you don't have to do the things you don't want to do. Unfortunately, as a result of you not doing what you didn't want to do causes you to not achieve what you wanted to achieve. To save, you need to pay yourself first, spend less and make more. To lose weight you have to stop eating junk, start drinking only water and move more. To make more money you have to talk to more people about what you do. Seriously, it's that easy! Show Notes
    Salespeople love to talk!
When meeting new people, the tendency for many salespeople is talk endlessly about themselves.  Boring!
Extroverted salespeople don’t realize they’re boring, while introverted prospects hate idle chit-chat.
The FORD script is an easy way to remember how to effectively connect with new people
Key to connecting with people at parties, on the phone and in any situation
Always make a meaningful and memorable impression – without saying a lot of words!
You may wonder, how do I make an impression if I don’t say anything?  If I don’t tell them about ME?
“People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.”
When people know that you care about them and their interests or their issues, they know that you’re someone they can trust.
The most dangerous word you can use when trying to gain someone’s trust is the word “I.”
Make it all about them and genuinely listen as they answer the questions from the FORD script.
    Active listening
The FORD script is so easy that you can take it anywhere with you and use it any situation.  What does FORD stand for?

Family – How long have they been married? How are their kids?  What are their parents up to lately?
Occupation – How are things going at work? What’s the best part about their new job? What do you do for a living?
Recreation – Where are they planning to go on their next vacation? What clubs/sports/hobbies are they involved in when they’re not working?
    Music
    Education
Dreams – If money were no object, what would they do with their live? What’s on their bucket list? If they could have dinner with any famous person, who would it be and why?

Depending on how well you know the person will dictate the intimacy of the questions you can ask
Conquer the fear of not knowing what to say (or the habit of saying too much)
