Scott Specker is the owner and general manager of Five Star Painting of Cumming and Alpharetta. Scott transitioned from a corporate marketing career, working with major consumer brands such as Coca Cola, Georgia Pacific, and Heinz. He decided to walk away and like many others, contemplated starting a consulting business. However, he was not interested in traveling and wanted to stay close to home. Purchasing a franchise was the answer.
Scott is now an industry leader, receiving recognition as Franchisee of the Year and for customer service and superior quality of work with 5-star ratings across multiple platforms. Scott, his wife, Sharon, and their three sons are very active in the community. They support other local small businesses and Scott is also a speaker on topic of “Corporate Work and Entrepreneurship” to university students.
