The Zimbabwean crisis which broke out last week following a sharp increase in fuel prices is ongoing. In response, South Africa's Finance Minister says that plans are in place to extend short-term credit to Zimbabwe and to help it write off its 7.4 billion dollar debt and while intervention is needed some critics believe that any money channeled to Zimbabwe will be wasted.
