Welcome to 2020! On this episode of the Business Talk Library, Lola discusses the four things you should be doing within the first weeks of 2020:
1. GATHER EXPENSES – Take some time to gather your expenses for the year especially if you haven’t been tracking them diligently through the year – this will put you in a much better position for Tax season before the April 15 deadline.
2. SHOP AROUND – After looking at your expenses, consider shopping around for prices for the things you spent the most money on and possibly eliminating those services you don’t need or use anymore.
3. THANK YOUR CUSTOMERS – Without your customers there would be no business, so make sure you take the time to do something genuine for those who have supported your business
4. REFLECT ON THE YEAR – What did you do well? What milestones did you achieve? Whether it was 100 or 5,000 subscribers- take time to celebrate yourself and the business for the things that went well
BONUS
5. PLAN FOR 2020 – After looking back on 2019, set some solid goals for yourself- whether its revenue, profit or expansion related – take time to write those goals down.
