Let’s be real… We have all be the victim of comparing ourselves to someone else. If it is on social media, in person, in business, or just in general. It can really suck and take a toll on our mental health. It can literally knock us out of our own business because we overthink things based on a false narrative.
I am the prime example of this. I literally quit my business 3 times. Yes, THREE TIMES. Because I compared myself to some many others in the photography world and convinced myself that I wasn’t good enough. I gave up on my dreams, myself and my businesses for MONTHS because of the little voice in my head telling me that I wasn’t good enough.
That crazy isn’t it? All because I let myself talk myself into believing I wasn’t good enough. That I was an imposter. I was not going to make. But guess what… I DID make it. I had to take that power back from MYSELF! That is insane for me to say! I had to take the power back from myself but I did. Once, I understood what Imposter Syndrome was and how to handle my feelings and what to do with my feels I was able to make sure that I was able to control how I was harness my feels and make sure that I was in control of the situations and I was in control of my business.
