Here are some of the most powerful words you can ever tell your kids, "I love you no matter what." This one phrase mimics God's redeeming love he has for his kids. We see this throughout scripture and the power of God's great sacrifice through Jesus dying on the cross. Here's a simple definition of God's mercy: When he doesn't give us what we deserve. As humans, we've all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The punishment for this is death. But God shows us mercy and love by sacrificing Jesus on the cross to cover for us. We can experience God's mercy today and every day when we choose to follow him.

One of my favorite attributes of God is that he is kind. No matter how bad we mess up, he will treat us with kindness. All throughout the Bible God shows how he is consistently kind through his actions in love towards us. What a great gift to his children! We humans crave a good fairness/justice system, and when we are on the "unfair" side of things, we cry out for justice to be done.
