In this week’s episode, Tom, Bekki, and Kaitlyn relive the team’s history-making 1-0 defeat of Bay FC to secure this season’s final NWSL playoff spot. Racing Louisville was unable to clinch a playoff spot in the last two weeks, so with one game left, it all comes down to their match against Bay FC.

After 3 straight losses it looked like Racing was down and out, but after massive back-to-back wins their playoff push is in full swing. On this week’s episode, Tom, Bekki, and Kaitlyn discuss how good it feels to beat Angel City and finally defeat North Carolina on their home turf. We also get into the team’s tenacity, the flexibility we’ve seen in their style of play, and our hopes for the final 3 matches of the season.

It’s now been three losses in a row for Racing. A mix of bad luck, bad officiating, and player injuries has dropped Big Purp out of playoff contention and at risk of dropping further.
