This episode was recorded on the floor of the 2024 Small Press Expo where I had the pleasure of sharing a table with Gideon Kendall, co-author and artist of Wait…It Gets Worse, which is now available as big, beautiful hardcover omnibus with brand new stories from Cosmic Lion. We talk not only about the new book, but about the joys of tabling at comic conventions.

This week we talk to James Romberger & Josh Bayer about a punk rock comic book project that we here at Buy This Comic are deeply invested in (because we're the ones who dreamt it up and are putting it out): the Naked Raygun Broken Things limited edition etched 7" and comic book. It's being crowdfunded on Kickstarter at this very moment and will be released by our parent company, Xylophone.

We talk to James & Josh about how they're working together on this unique collaboration, the primacy and practicality of working using traditional tools, the history of split comic stories, how punk rock influenced them, and so much more.

BUY!

Head to Kickstarter to make pledge and get yourself one of the limited edition copies of the Naked Raygun Broken Things limited edition etched 7" and comic book. You can also choose rewards that include original sketches, signed graphic novels, and even special edition Naked Raygun t-shirts designed by James & Josh!
