Buzzed Bingeing

As the focus of the Crown drifts further afield in Season 5, the Bingers reflect the unevenness in the show. Whisky blend or milk? Royals acting like adults or children? Join the conversation!

Why have the Bingers been dreading The Crown Season 5? Pour a stiff glass of whisky and find out what they think of the cast changes and the new focus for Season 5!

As the Wales' marriage deteriorates, the Bingers spill some tea, or at least drink some. Whether your cup is Nightly Calm or Earl Grey, Charles and Diana's marriage is anything but proper!

The Bingers find this season's Margaret episode and the Prime Minister's unwillingness to sanction South Africa sobering topics. So grab a cranberry ginger mocktail or some strawberry lemonade and get gritty with the Bingers!

Is the Crown going Shakespearian on us? S4 E5 Fagan has us trying to see Lear's Fool, and E6 has Charles in a complicated love triangle, but will the Bingers, like Prince Phillip, beg the show not to go Shakespearian? Mix up a sparkling duchess And tune in!

The Bingers dive into the messiest royal period yet depicted by the Crown. What does this portrayal show us? Do we know more about these characters than they know about themselves? Mix up a sparkling duke (Crown Apple, ginger ale and prosecco) or some milk, and go high or go low, just like the Royals!

Season 4 of the Crown may be an improvement over season 3, but the introduction of then-Lady Diana Spencer certainly doesn't smooth the waters for the royal family. Nor does the advent of PM Margaret Thatcher. The Bingers recommend an added step to the Balmoral Test of taking a shot of whiskey before diving into this season!

The Bingers take a critical look at the final episodes of The Crown season 3: Imbroglio and Cri de coeur. Is the inconsistency we see on screen a reflection of a rough patch for the royals or just laziness on the part of the showrunners? Grab a  romantic Rossini cocktail, or a basic ginger ale, and join the conversation!

The Moonwalk cocktail or Gatorade is a perfect match to The Crown S3 E7 & 8 Moondust and Dangling Man. You can pick your path: hydrate through Philip's training regimen or have a cocktail with the astronauts, but don't forget the bitterness David and Charles bring to this mix. Join in as the Bingers look at the big questions and the petty squabbles that haunt the British Royal family.

Some great casting of Charles Dance as Dickey Mountbatten and Josh O'Connor as Prince Charles make the next two episodes of the Crown compelling. The Bingers have a Prince of Wales cocktail and some Gatorade to dig into these portrayals, so should you!
