This season is based on Natalie Nicolaïdes 'Curating Artificial Intelligence research project, which Creative Scotland funded. In this season of BUZZING, Natalie converses with ChatGPT as if it were an artist and challenges its dataset on artistic practices, curation, and mortality.

In this episode, Natalie introduces her surroundings as she records from Cove Park and explains how she came to work on this project.

TRIGGER WARNING - includes themes around mental illness

In this episode, host Natalie Nicolaïdes and curator/writer Jamie Stevenson discuss the cis-white male mental illness as depicted in film, specifically in films 'Joker' (2019) and 'The Cell' (1999).  We chat about the idea of invisibility within contemporary society and how this is critiqued by the 'Joker' and speak about the 'The Cell' being a victim of its time.

This episodes sees host Natalie Nicolaides and the 16 Nicholson Street Gallery & Arts Collective talk about the space in South Glasgow.  With all three curators, we discuss the space and how it was established , its ethos as well as its organisational structure and what we can expect from them in 2020.

We then discuss the exhibition entitled 'Our World - The World to Come' by Glasgow-based artists Kien Denier and Siri Black, curated by Aga Paulina Mlynczak, which ran from 17 January to 26 January 2020.  We also touch upon their upcoming exhibition by Michella Perera entitled 'Touring Permutations', which opens on Friday 7 February.

This episodes sees host Natalie Nicolaides and HIVE co-founder Anaïs Janze-Natera discuss the language around gender neutrality and question whether English is the only viable option.  We also venture off and discuss feeling emotions towards buses, queer culture, abortion, feminism and Tuca & Bertie.

Looking at Greek, Spanish and German we discuss gendered words, which are are often defined as male, female and neutral, and ask if there is a foreseeable way where and when these identifiers could change.  Would we need to change how we teach them? How far would a language have to evolve?
