The State of Emergency was put in place in March 2020 to afford the Government to put in place some measures to protect jobs from retrenchments, dismissals or pay cuts during the COVID-19 pandemic. The State of Emergency came to an end on the 30th of September, which bring about concerns as companies and organisations deal with staffing issues.
